"Boss."
I looked up from my phone as Richard stepped into the room, a manila envelope in his hand. I set my phone on the table, suddenly interested in whatever news he had brought.
"The lab finished the analysis," he said.
Good. That was exactly what I wanted to hear. I had rushed them to complete it as quickly as possible. Being wealthy definitely had its perks.
Richard dropped the envelope onto my desk and let out a breath. I glanced at it before looking back at him. He stretched his arms slightly, then nodded toward the envelope.
"What does it say?" I asked, irritation creeping into my voice. He was taking too long to tell me.
I had expected him to open it already. It wasn't like this was some enormous secret that needed to be guarded.
Richard frowned at me.
"You should open it. It's your responsibility. I haven't gotten anyone pregnant in the past few years."
I bared my teeth at him, glaring.
