Nothing about Kyle was manly. He was weak hearted, too soft hearted and kind. She didn't like people who are too kind as they resemble her sister and sure enough Kyle has all the quality that Evangeline has, that kind and gentle nature which was so full of mercy.
What a hypocrite!
In the end these type of people are the ones who suffer because of their kindness for what? Just to be seen as kind?
It was embarrassing to her.
But Kyle was the only young man in the land who doesn't know about what truly happened. She could easily lie to him, tell him that she had been thrown to the dungeon because of her sister which he had immediately bought without a second thought.
