Elena wiped off her tears and looked at the group of five. Other than the obvious signs of tears and worry, they looked pretty happy and fine.
'These two… Aron and Letty right? They're a little bit on the skinny side but I guess there's a reason for that.' she thought before moving her gaze to Amon, "So, will you promise me that you will never throw me away or give me to someone else?"
"Of course, that's a given." he said as he looked at her and then got to his feet, "I didn't expect that I'd pass out for two whole days and thanks to that, we'll have to hurry. What happened during this time?"
Aron grabbed two rolls of newspapers and tossed them onto the floor, "Gabora gang has waged a war against Red Baron gang. That's the only thing that feels dangerous but there isn't much we know other than the fact that Gabora gang's important member was almost killed."
Mikayla looked up at Amon and squinted her eyes, "There's an unspoken peace treaty between the gangs since fighting increases losses and they're both greedy. Unless… there was someone dumb enough in one of the gangs to trigger something like this or someone did this intentionally, expecting the two gangs to fight."
"Yeah, your mom and I did it." Amon said as he stretched, "Anyways pick your special class or whatever it's called so we can head out. We'll be joining the Gabora's and helping them out. Our goal is your father's head after all."
Mikayla nodded as she too stood back up, "Yes… my father's head." she said softly as she looked up into his eyes. The hesitation she originally had, melted away when she saw his calm gaze and couldn't stop herself from sighing.
"Yes, let's do it. He doesn't deserve to live." she said as she looked at the others, "What did you guys pick by the way? I've decided to go with my gut feeling and picked Shadow Wraith for agility."
"I picked soul piercer." Nyx joined in before glancing at the new girl, Elena.
The elf girl looked at Amon and the others before chuckling awkwardly, "Umm… I'm having trouble picking. Can you do it for me please?" she said as she looked at Amon, straight into his eyes before adding, "Husband."
'Oh god, please save me.' he screamed internally as he glanced at Nyx and Mikayla, both of whom looked pretty surprised and for some reason, pouty.
"Uh, yeah I can pick one for you. Lemme just check your system status first."

Amon stared at the screen for a few moments in silence before looking up at Elena. An A rank really was different.
'It's a good thing I didn't think of fighting Raul… who knows how he'd crush me to a pulp.' he mused as he moved his gaze to the two new methods of increasing stats.

'One helps with decreasing mana usage while the other increases mana usage but also gives increased damage. Great for nuking but hmm… she only has three skills though.' he mused as he looked at the two skills in deep thought.
"Hmm can you tell me why you only have three skills? I mean, as an A ranker, you could have a lot more couldn't you?"
Elena nodded, "I was born with these skills and I was born as a level three A ranker. When I was forced onto earth, I lost all the skills and levels that I learned in my whole life. It was like someone pressed the reset button on my life before throwing me in a new world…." she said before adding softly, "As a slave."
"I see… life magic huh? What can this do?"
"Well… this." she said and all of a sudden, plants began to grow all around her and they began to grow out of nowhere. And the plants were unlike before, when he only saw disgusting and scary looking ones.
Pretty flowers of multiple colours bloomed as the thin wines and leaves formed a dress. Flowers grew over them, making her look like she was an angel born in a forest, in a mystical and magical way.
The aroma of the flowers spread through the room, calming everyone in just a moment's time. Everyone was still slightly tensed and Amon saw everyone relax at the same time like someone had pressed a switch in them.
"This is one of the things I can do. I can use it for offence, to keep monsters tied up, for defence and even scouting. I can also heal wounds, reattach limbs… and heal serious injuries but… you shouldn't hit zero health points. Since my skill is only at S rank, I am unable to heal someone who's considered dead by the system but once I get it to SSS rank, I'll have a few minutes time to do it. As long as I have enough Magic power, I should be able to bring someone back to life."
"Magic power huh… fine, we'll go with that then. Pick Void Golem. You can use extra mana to increase the effectiveness of your spells so it should also help with your healing abilities." he said and while he was speaking, he watched her nod.
Amon then let out a soft sigh before glancing at everyone in the room, "Also, I have a favour to ask. Could you teach us how to awaken the Mana heart?"
"I heard that it's learnable as long as you have a teacher."
