Qin Yu turned around, bewildered, and looked at the clearly drunk Bandit behind him. He shook his head helplessly. He had been so careful in his observation, yet he was almost killed by the unremarkable Place of bodily functions.
"I'm asking you a question!"
The drunken Bandit slurred, demanding an answer. In response, he received a flash of a sharp blade.
"En..."
After the blade, the Bandit, now losing a lot of blood, seemed to sober up. Unfortunately, his voice was cut short as Qin Yu clamped a hand over his mouth.
A few seconds later, the Bandit who had taught Qin Yu a lesson collapsed to the ground.

As he approached, Qin Yu heard faint sobbing. He sheathed his longsword and a Kunai appeared in his hand. Qin Yu cautiously peeked ahead.
In his view, a woman with torn clothes was weeping, presumably having just experienced something terrible.
Realizing this, Qin Yu sheepishly averted his gaze. The woman's emotions were clearly shattered. If she were provoked further, she might lose her will to live, and what she needed most was calmness and hope.
It wasn't the time for questions that would dredge up painful memories. Though Qin Yu wasn't a psychologist, he understood the basics. The best approach when facing someone on the verge of collapse was to help them calm down.
Sometimes, an unintentional action could push someone over the edge, so helping them regain composure was the best outcome.
Finding no Bandits, Qin Yu slowly moved away, approaching the Bandit he had just killed. He didn't linger; this man had paid the price for his actions.
Having learned from that experience, Qin Yu slowly approached the kitchen, where smoke still curled upwards. Logically, the sounds from the courtyard should have alerted the Bandits, but they hadn't.
However, considering the Bandits' intoxicated state earlier, this was easily explained.
Qin Yu slowly approached the kitchen. Just as he was about to peek through the door crack, the old wooden door creaked open.
A fat man whose face resembled Guan Gong, the God of War, was holding a plate of roasted meat, which immediately caught Qin Yu's eye.
Their eyes met, and both were somewhat stunned. However, Qin Yu reacted faster, not because his heart was strong enough, but because he was here to collect gold coins, cough... to uphold justice.
A cold Kunai silently sliced across the fat Bandit's throat. The Bandit, also drunk, fell to the ground with a look of disbelief. The roasted meat in his hand plummeted towards the floor.
"Clang!"
The plate containing the roasted meat landed on the ground, creating an unusual sound.
"What's going on?"
Following that, an angry question came from inside the kitchen, indicating that there was more than one person in there.
After noticing this, Qin Yu waited patiently for a few seconds. Another Bandit appeared in his field of vision. Compared to the red-faced Bandit before, this one looked much paler.
It was hard to tell if he was drunk just by looking at his face, but Qin Yu noticed his pants weren't fastened properly.
Swoosh.
Without hesitation, Qin Yu threw the Kunai in his hand before the Bandit could see him.
Bang.
The Bandit, who had just enjoyed himself, fell to the ground.

The young man's lower body was covered in blood. Clearly, the Bandit had some peculiar habits. Looking around, Qin Yu also found a dismembered ox.
Qin Yu contemplated the ox for a long time before taking some of the butchered beef and placing it in his storage space.
"Even though this is just outside Konoha's sphere of influence, there are already such evil Bandits... truly..."
Standing at the kitchen door, Qin Yu murmured to himself before heading toward another building.
That should be where the civilians were being held. As he approached, Qin Yu heard the cries of women and children. The door was secured with a massive chain.
It was highly unlikely that any Bandits were inside. After confirming the area was clear, Qin Yu went toward the central building.
This building had three floors. Qin Yu didn't enter directly but instead used Uchiha Itachi's physical abilities to reach the roof.
Leaning down to listen, Qin Yu heard a sobbing girl. It was certain that some beast was committing violence below, and this beast was most likely the leader of the bandits.
Lifting a roof tile, Qin Yu saw a burly man. He had just finished his business and was about to leave the room to continue drinking and reveling.
Behind him was a girl who had clearly lost the will to live…
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh.
As soon as the bandit leader stepped out, three kunai pierced through the air and directly into his throat.
"You…"
The bandit leader had been a decent man in his life. He could even pinpoint the location from which Qin Yu had attacked, but it was of no use. His final fate was still death.

A light blue screen appeared, and Qin Yu flipped into the only room on the top floor. Ignoring the unconscious girl, Qin Yu pushed open the door and quietly observed the scene below.
The layout here was a bit strange. There was only one room on the third floor, and the remaining area was like a warehouse. Clearly, this Bandit leader had been very fond of wealth in his lifetime.
Through the stairwell on the third floor, Qin Yu could see the scene on the second floor. The second floor was empty at the moment, and no sound came from it.
After confirming that no sound was coming from below, Qin Yu went directly to the second floor. He didn't check everything one by one, but walked straight towards the stairwell.
Standing at the stairwell on the second floor, Qin Yu saw five Bandits who were already drunk and drowsy. These should be the last few Bandits.
They were basically already drunk and had lost their ability to react.
Five Kunai flew out, and the five Bandits died in an instant.

After taking down this group of Bandits, Qin Yu had earned a total of 1300 gold coins. Adding that to his previous loot, he now had 2100 gold coins, enough to exchange for two Marrow Cleansing Fruits.
Qin Yu was still reveling in the joy of improving his strength when a Kunai came flying down from the second floor.
