Michael accepted the flatbread, sniffed it lightly, then couldn't resist taking a large bite. His face immediately turned red from the spice.
"Oh no, I put too much sauce! The peppers I grew seem to be spicier because they were watered with nature magic..." Eric guiltily ran into the house to pour a glass of water for Michael.
These chili plants grown in the yard were from seeds he dug out of peppers traded from the human merchant caravan, but their spice level was significantly higher. In this beef sauce, Eric had put a lot of minced chili.
Michael drank the glass of water in a few gulps, then constantly fanned his mouth with his hand; it took a while for him to calm down.
"Hoo, that was satisfying, just a bit too spicy. The smell is very fragrant; putting a little in the flatbread is enough." Michael took a breath before commenting.
Seeing his mouth red from the spice, Eric guiltily conjured a square block of ice and handed it to Michael to hold in his mouth.
