Chapter 79 - Unnameable Feelings

Today, Eric intended to make roasted rabbit ribs.

Rabbit meat was inherently tender and sweet, a favorite among the children of the tribe, while the adult Snow Wolf people could even chew the bones.

Several dozen jars of sorghum wine had been distilled. The remaining lees were gathered by Luban into a single pottery jar.

Eric took the opportunity to sprinkle in a little more yeast powder, mixed it well, and then asked Kevin and a few friends to move it down to the cellar for a second fermentation.

By the time all that was done, it was already late afternoon. Fearing that the food prepared would not be enough for dinner, as there were many guests, Eric decided to go to the tribe's communal warehouse to get some more fresh meat.

Hearing him say he wanted to go get meat, Michael couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"How much meat can that small frame of yours carry? Let me go with you. You just pick, and I'll carry it."
