"Okay, okay, Fred. Relax now." Gabe's voice was firm, yet gentle, carrying a seriousness that made Fred still his trembling. "I'll get the drugs from Damien, and of course, I'll keep my mouth shut about you being an omega."
He pulled Fred closer, cradling his head against his chest. "You can stop crying now, big guy."
"Thank you, Gabe." Fred's voice wavered at first but carried warmth and relief. "I knew you'd always have my back."
He drew a shaky breath before continuing, his tone growing heavier with seriousness. "Once I take the medicine from Damien… I'll be leaving this country. I'll be going somewhere else. Far away from this shit."
"Huh?" Gabe raised a brow, confusion etched on his face. Gently, he lifted Fred's head so their eyes met, locking gazes. "What do you mean by that? Why would you want to do that?"
