The air inside the club was thick and suffocating, filled with the loud, overlapping chatter of people and the heavy scent of alcohol. Different aromas of food mixed chaotically with cigarette smoke, creating an intoxicating haze and lingered in the lungs. The bass from the music thumped violently against the walls, vibrating through the floor and straight into the bones.
It was the best club in town.
And that was exactly where Damien was.
"Bring more drinks!!!" Damien yelled over the blasting music, his voice rough and carefree as he swayed to the rhythm. One hand was already wrapped around a glass of wine, the dark liquid sloshing dangerously close to the rim as he danced without a care in the world.
I have to celebrate Alex's success after all, he thought inwardly, a wide and satisfied grin stretching across his face. He finally laid the omega down. He did well… He really did. Guess he finally took my teaching seriously.
