"There you are!" Just as he entered the French class after changing into his usual clothes, he was immediately noticed by Bissette.
"Hi, Miss Bissette." He lightly greeted her while inwardly surprised by how quickly she noticed him entering the class.
"Listen, Bradley, I know you've had some personal matters to take care of, and that's why you've been absent lately…" She held one of his hands with both her hands and looked at him with a worried look. "But is everything okay?"
"Yeah, I am pretty alright now." He lightly shrugged with a nod and then looked towards her hands which were glued to his hand.
"You're not the only one behind, you know." To reassure him, she lightly reminded him of that so he won't feel left behind by others.
"French is pretty hard, after all." He replied as he remembered how many classmates of his suffered in French classes. "But it's much easier thanks to you."
"Aww, thanks Bradley." Bissette smiled happily at his compliment and tightened her hands. "Well, if you ever need anything, let me know."
"Thanks, Miss Bissette." Just as he released his hands from her hands, she stopped him immediately.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me!" She smiled as she remembered what she had planned and continued her words. "I'm implementing a new learning opportunity for those trying to catch up."
She looked at him while saying those words as it was pretty obvious who it was intended towards.
"That's pretty cool." He couldn't help but notice the difference between Bissette and Bridget and felt happy about choosing the French class to focus on the most.
"Not just that, it will be more… One on one type of learning…" She lightly brushed her hair behind her ears as she continued her words. "… And I'm hoping it will energize students."
"I see…" While a little weirded out due to her way of conveying that, he couldn't help but be excited as it will definitely help him.
"Why don't you take your seat and I'll be discussing it in front of the class." She lightly patted his shoulders and went towards the podium in the class.
'Pretty rare.' As he made his way towards the classes, he couldn't help but think about her one-on-one teaching and realize how hardly any teacher does that.
Just as he sat down on his seat, Bissette lightly coughed to get the class's attention and, except for a few students like Roxxy, most of them focused on her.
"Attention class, you guys know about the upcoming test, right? I am planning to reward the students who showed the most improvement in the class." While the words sounded great, most students hardly reacted to it as most knew her reward was usually French literature.
"And not to mention, I am offering private tutoring to anyone who is interested." Ignoring the lack of enthusiasm in the class, she lightly looked at Bradley and continued, "So contact me later for more details."
'She couldn't have made it more obvious.' Hearing her words, Bradley couldn't help but smirk as he knew it was all for him. 'Well, not like I mind.'
After that, the class went by as Bradley focused on catching up on all the things he missed in the month.
"Ugh…" Just as the bell rang, he rubbed his eyes lightly as he couldn't help but feel sleepy from all the studying.
'Man, I hate studying.' While annoyed by studying again, he lightly put his notes in his bag and looked around the class.
Suddenly, someone threw a ball of paper on his head. Annoyed, he looked back to see Roxxy mocking him with her tongue out. "Bleh!"
'This bitch!' He quickly picked up the ball of paper and threw it back at her head, which accurately hit her forehead.
"You dweeb!" Annoyed, she picked back up the paper ball to throw at him but it missed and hit straight on Miss Bissette's face.
"Aren't you having a lot of fun, Roxxy?" With an annoyed smile, she picked up the ball of paper and looked at her. "Meet me after the class later."
Realizing what happened, she furiously looked at Bradley, to which he laughed at her, and then towards Bissette who was throwing the paper in the trash can.
'Deserved.' Looking at her suffering, he smiled widely and then looked back towards Bissette who was announcing another thing.
"Oh! And before you all leave." She decided to once again remind them of the announcement she made earlier. "Any student who is interested in after-school tutoring sessions, come talk to me in my office or tomorrow in class."
"Au revoir!" With a goodbye in French, she went to sit on her chair while waiting for Roxxy.
"Hey, welcome back!" Looking towards his side, he could see Eve poking his sides and lightly greeting him with a smile. "And that was pretty funny."
"Sup, Eve! And you're right." He greeted her back and immediately realized what she was talking about as he looked at Roxxy being scolded by Miss Bissette.
"And new hair color? You look good!" He then noticed her new blue hair color with golden streaks, which suited her and her personality.
"Yeah?" Hearing his compliment, she lightly brushed her hair with a smile.
"I was a little worried I couldn't pull it off…" She remembered how awkward she felt looking at her new hair color, but hearing his compliment made her feel better.
"Oh, you definitely pulled it off!" He replied honestly as her new look reminded him of the goth girls in his past life. 'And who doesn't like them goth girls.'
"Hehe, thanks, Brad…" She replied with a smile while removing her hoodie to show off more of her new hair color. "Also, you look good in those clothes."
Looking at him, once again she realized he was wearing something a lot better, unlike his usual t-shirt and shorts.
"Oh, thanks? And didn't expect you to notice." He was pretty surprised by her noticing it, while feeling happy inwardly for more people to noticing it.
