C2: Voracious First Encounter
I'd like to clarify for anyone curious but yes I have played the game twice. First time no dlc and beat it with all cords whilst second time was with dlc and full chalice clear (except optional root dungeons).
I I had bought the dlc after in preparation for this book so I'm not completely out of the loop even though I've already faced massive spoilers about the whole story and even 'lore videos' .
Secondly. I am currently 8 chapters ahead on Patreon with the next 3 available for free to all

"Aw shit, I'm in Bloodborne." I curse out as the first proper understanding of my surroundings and location are determined. Recognizing the lines of bookshelves and medical tables that I myself was lying on. I gradually got up. My previous pain from the injury is still festering even after so long.
How do I know that it was a long time since 'my' injury, well I really don't know but ill be damned if this borderline medieval trash filled land would have the necessary medical technology to save my hands and sexy chest from that infernal beasts gigantic claws if only a day or two had passed since then.
"hmm. That's going to get annoying fast, isn't it" I state as fact since the pain from my injury was constantly aching. Yet as I finish speaking, horror takes over me.
"NOOOOO, im british" I scream in agony akin to a folklore accurate banshee, but without the glass breaking, as I fall to my knees from the sense of despair taking over me. With no hope for me in this lifetime, I decide to take the hard way out.
Crawling to the nearest wall, I begin to bash my own head in.
Streak after streak of blood begins to pile up on both my forehead as well as the wall. I am eventually forced to stop as the strain of my attacks had caused my body to ache far too much as well as the dizziness accompanied by my brain breaking playground activity.
"Uhhhhh ka, my head hurts, wait a minute. The accent is gone. I can talk again. Oh ladies and gentlemen, it's about to get spicy now" I say to myself to cheer myself up as I rest for a few minutes until the aches finally pass and I can move my body again. The headache though, that will remain but I'm used to it at this point.
Before my surgery, I do remember that I was told my headaches for the past few years were caused by the nugget so having another one now from brain damage is nothing new.
Slowly getting up as I use the nearby walls and tables to stabilize myself, I pull up a chair as I contemplate my current path of action.
"So if I truly believe I am in the game, then 1 of three possible options is available to me."
"Firstly, this is my new real life and I'm a total badass just under Gehrman's level and I just need to find a messenger station to get back home to him and never do anything ever again. Secondly, im totally fucked and this is a game which means either dying or the messenger lamp post will get me to him but by the state of my body, that is likely not the case."
"Thirdly, I received the divine love of a beautiful goddess who has bestowed upon me a system and I just need to grind a bit to become all powerful. So let's count them down." I finish my attempt to cheer myself up as I speak out the well known keywords.
"System, status, Stats, Inventory, Return to title Screen." Nothing happens and I tremble as there are only a few other words that it could be.
"Please don't be Chinese" x2. I repeat to myself in prayer as I call out the last possible form it could be.
"Login, daily, sign in." Hands cupped over my face, I split my fingers apart but still didn't see any form of menu screen that would indicate a system.
Despair grips my heart as I understand that the third option was out of the window now and only one of two possibilities remained, neither was good for me but dwelling on it wouldn't help me either.
With no hope in my heart, and a grunt escaping my lips, I make my way off my chair and down the medical area where I woke up. Wearing very formal but ragged clothing. My signature hat was missing as well as my typical gear, obviously a patient in a coma wouldnt have weapons to fight off beasts like that one down the hall.
"Wait, down the hall…right. Sigh"
'I remember how there is one beast inside this clinic that serves as the introduction. I could probably kill it but im not sure how long my mind could hold out under the heavy strain' I think to myself as i step towards the most noteworthy thing.
On a nearby chair, I find a note stating: Seek pale-Blood to transcend the hunt
"Yea, sure buddy. Dunno why a coma patient needs this note since it would be obvious that I couldn't do anything unless I actually woke up at this point and time to read this. Wait. Is it the moon, did it arrange this?" I ask nobody in particular, simply voicing my thoughts to better process them as I open the first door which leads to a very ominous and long staircase with only a chandelier to cover the sole window that leaks out an orangish red light.
With clear strain, I make my way down the stairs, halfway through I climb onto the railing just to slide down 3 feet and immediately regret doing this in the first place as a piece of post blocks further progress and so when my legs land back on the ground, the shake makes my injuries ache like a mofo.
"Ahh, no no no no" I choose to brave the remaining steps by walking with at most clinging to the railing like a girlfriend in a bad break up.
I soon enter the next room with a half broken floorboard, a single knocked over chair and two benches that hold a single handsaw each as well as a small box holding vials of unknown liquid and the final piece being a suitcase stuffed with clothing.
I crouch down picking up the wood and setting it off to the side, "if i survive this, im coming back for you. Lumber is expensive in this economy. Especially when i don't know what the economy here even is" I gently stroke the few pieces that are longer and can still be salvaged into something proper, like a cutting board or a small bench if he had enough screws.
I then return to my focus on the benches, looking back and forth between the two benches before a reverential expression crosses my face as I take up both the hacksaws.
"My precioussss, fuck the wood, saws are the current hip commodity." I affectionately stroke the steel as I have obtained my first ever proper weapon. Two of them in fact, I gently let the two rub creating a light metallic sound as they tap but no more to avoid making loud sounds.
Walking into the next room is tons more tables with bookshelves that don't contain books but various vials and bottles. I don't get to explore very far as something hits my nose first, stopping in my tracks I cover my nose and say, "oh that smells like shit"
I look around and find that the premier shit stain himself is being devoured by a werewolf. The scourge beast doesnt notice me yet as I quickly but quietly smoove back to my previous location and stay out of sight and mind.
I look at my two hand saws and envision how a fight might go down. I soon shake my head as the proposed scenario is not good for me.
'They are good at cutting but their range is too short. I need something different. Going back to my medical suite, I examine the various bottles here arranged on the shelves.
"Is this alcohol or some form of disinfectant?" I stick my hand in the liquid and take a lick of my finger, nearly gag as a result but the end result is the same.
"I might not have an idea, but I do have a plan."
I quickly collect all my ingredients as well as a single candlestick from one of the two lamps in my room before stuffing it in a bag I found, carrying it all down gently so the candle doesnt go out.
Once back in the adjacent room to the beast, I cover the torn pages from the books I found and smear them in the medical fluid before jamming them into another larger bottle opening.
Walking out into the open, I hold the candle stick sideways in one hand so the wax drips on the floor, the flame remains steady while my other hand holds one of the bottles. [1]
The beast takes notice of me and the medicinal scent wafting from me. It growls as it begins to take slow but paced steps towards me on all fours.
"Hi doggy, nice to meetcha, quick question. Do you know what a molotov is? Cause youre about to fucking find out bitch" I light the first bottle in hand and throw it at the beast as it is about to spring and jump at me.
Side stepping out of its lunge, the thrown bottle explodes into flames that cover the beast. It roars in pain but I don't relent as I grab the next bottle, light it and throw it at the beast. I do this with the remaining 3 more bottles i've prepared
The beast is well and truly on fire but with no desire to get close to it, I run for my life as it chases me with rage in its eyes and fire on its fur.
I juke it around one of the steel tables and while it loses sight of me, I find a little dope baggy holding 2 blood vials that I quickly pocket and rush at the door as the wolf finally makes it around the table and spots me again.
AWOOO. It rushes at me as I collide with the door after having sprinted up these second set of stairs. I struggle to open them, as the wolf gains on me.
"Why is it so heavy, ahhh" I complain before the wolf swipes at me only for the strangest thing to happen happens.
The scourge beasts claws phase right through my back, leaving me uninjured and 'healthy'.
"It's the game!!" I yell in triumph as I slowly but surely open the door. At that time, the wolf seemed to have lost track of me or was also confused because its head winded up inside my belly like a ghost passing through, sniffing the air every so often.
When the door was finally opened, the wolf suddenly jumped through me like he was no-clipped and landed in the open graveyard outside the clinic. Panicking I take cover behind the pillar and keep going around the right side until i get to a tree.
The wolf is prowling around, trying to get me. So with some quick thinking, I put one foot on the feminine praying statue's 'leg' and the other on the chains of the standing chained up casket. Nearly doing the splits, I grab onto the casket and pull myself on top of it before hopping onto the closest thickest tree branch I could. This took a lot of staring and my body is aching in pain. Panting hard, I nearly took a seat on one of the thicker branches to catch my breath.
I certainly caught my breath as the beast jumped to swipe at the tree and nearly took the branch I was about to sit on, off.
Noticing my lack of safety, I go to the other side and with a quick hop, get onto the stone walls that have a metallic fence on top of the stone walls with small spikes on them.
Holding onto the spaces between each spike, I shimmy my way through the slight opening to the other side and then slowly climb down on an elevated praying lady statue.
Now on the other side of the gate, I spot the wolf and raise my hand towards it, one single finger extended.
"Fuck you" I say in finality as the fire finally takes the wolf down. I collapsed on the floor in exhaustion as I finally let my body rest from the brief period of exercise that was double that of the strain going down that first set of stairs.
'Must be the adrenaline. Oh shit it's over, ugh that hurts'
I tremble all over like a shivering animal as the pain finally takes me full force. I only have enough power to drag myself against the stone wall so that I can at least sit upright to rest.

Word count is Slightly high average, Whether you like the chapter or not, drop a comment. I can't be letting myself get complacent in my writing. I still have plenty of growth in all forms.

[1]: the specific location is the table just next to the messengers that teach you that when you lock onto an enemy, you side step instead of dodge roll.
Just for quick clarification, I am playing the game in ng+ after already having beat the game to prepare for the start of this story. Though I did make a new character to more accurately replicate my path through the story and to double check echo values of defeated foes.
