Zeo stopped in front of the entrance of the cave at the foot of the volcano after seeing encrypted writings on the wall which he couldn't decipher. Being an expert, Hana observed and deciphered the writing without wasting much time.
"It says humans with their supernatural state being chaos won't be able to pass through in one piece"
"That should mean we can only pass once we're dead..."
"correct"
Zeo sat by a corner and waited for them to finish their discussion while thinking of something.
Is this really a training camp or we're here for other purposes
"By the way... we're actually here to find a lead on the new era"
"What lead?"
"We're here to gather the remains of a demon from the new era"
"Oh..."
Shidan decided to sit down beside Zeo as the other kade up their mind to enter excluding Hana who wanted to stay behind with zeo.
"Hana..."
Hana sits on his lap which he ignores but shidan fed her a look that was full of confusion
"Why didn't you tag along?"
"I'm weak..."
"Yea right"
Hana and shidan sat down glaring daggers at each other while zeo's attention seemed to be focused somewhere else
"Wait guys... someone's coming"
Silence descended on the for a while as footsteps heading towards them were heard.after about a minute, the man in lab coat and the boy carrying a backpack surface from the darkness. Without bothering to speak with shidan and the others,he walked straight to the entrance.
"Gas..."
The man in lab coat turns
"How may I help you... shidan"
"Your supernatural state is chaos so you can't—"
"You're smarter than this shidan...it was clearly stated that you can't enter in one piece, so why enter in one piece"
"Huh"
They were all confused as to what he meant by that until they saw what he did. Gas bit his finger till blood gushed out and a few drops fell to the floor then him and his companion walked through the entrance.
"See you later..."
"Wait—"
Shidan tried to hold him from entering but his hand couldn't pass the entrance. Zeo stood up and observed the blood on the ground and noticed a peculiar pattern of ying and Yang on it.
Zeo continued to observe it while shidan sorted for a way to get inside without getting hurt. After finding none,he resulted to the same measures as gas and his hand slipped through the seemingly unbreakable barrier while also leaving a similar pattern on the ground.
"Zeo... bite your finger"
Zeo does what shidan tells him to and passes through the entrance before following after gas and his companion who seemed to have covered some distance from them.
After walking for hours, they reached an open ground where gas and his companion sat down to have a meal.
"Oh... so you decided to follow"
"If you're here then there's really a mystery in this cave"
"You think so..."
Gas finished the meal he was taking then walked up to shidan while the boy accompanying him sat down enjoying his meal.
"What's the real reason you're here shidan?..."
"To find and capture you"
"I see..."
Gas sends a strike at shidan that was too fast for Zeo to see but he evades effortlessly then follows with a round house kick, stunning gas for a moment.
"I taught I had made it clear from our first meeting that you can't beat me"
From the looks of it, shidan wouldn't waste much time finishing him off but gas was smiling nevertheless
"I Know that much...but I didn't come unprepared,you know"
Empty space through where gas had struck his attack suddenly exploded in shidan's face which leaves zeo shocked
"Wow... you've improved quite alot...but I remembered telling you,that won't work in me"
At first glance it was like shidan didn't move at all but the boy having a meal behind gas explained what had happened
"Gas san, you're quite slow you know, while you made that strike, there was enough time for him to pull your pants down"
"Huh..."
"It seems you might have forgotten that he sees 10 seconds into the future"
Shidan and Zeo let out the laughter they had been holding in for a while after seeing gas's teddy bear boxers.
"Gas...let me give you and example..."
Before shidan could even realize,the boy closes the distance between them and attempts to slash his neck with a knife until zeo threw a rock just in time to intercept the attack, which makes the boy stop his attack right in front of shidan's neck
"Something like this..."
Gas and shidan turn in shock as the boy who was originally eating a meal behind gas is suddenly in front of shidan, pointing a fork to throat.
"How did you..."
"Never mind that... more importantly"
He turns to zeo who was exhaling and inhaling deeply like he was out of strength
