Theo stood in the courtyard, watching everyone around her leave. It was that time of the month when Gravemont gave its monthly student leave, and she couldn't believe just how much had happened in a month of her arrival.
So much. Too much.
A while ago, she had stood here and watched Alpha Ashbourne leave along with an unconscious Liam. He was escorted out by the Commandant, but he kept glancing back every two seconds looking for someone.
It wasn't her. She was sure of that because he had seen her. He was looking for someone else.
As more students walked out of the massive gates, Theo looked around. Weeks ago, she first walked in here with Eric, and now she would be leaving on her own.
She had made up her mind to go. She knew she would be hurting a lot of people by doing so, but she had made you her mind on her decision. Sylas will definitely not agree on this, but she couldn't risk it.
