After saying that, she focused inward as the contracts in either of her hands imprinted her mana signature.
The mana contract floated mid-air, shimmering softly before dissolving into particles. Veronica felt a faint ripple pass through her mind as the agreement settled within it.
As for the Empire contract, something unique happened.
After floating in the air for a moment, the thick parchment divided into 3 thin, translucent parchments. One drifted toward Veronica and another toward Leo, both dissolving into their bodies in a swirl of faint golden particles. The last parchment hovered upward and, in the next moment, disappeared entirely.
It had been transferred to the Empire's vault so that it could be retrieved if a situation ever arose.
"Good," Leo said, waving his hand. Instantly, 10 fruits of each variety appeared before Veronica.
