"You've both worked hard tonight. Go rest."
"Yes."
The two disappeared.
"I'm here!"
Suddenly, Xiaoxue popped into the hall.
"You nearly scared me to death! At least make a sound when you arrive." Qian Renxue clutched her chest, glaring at her unexpected visitor.
"Xiaoxue, was it you helping my brother pause time so you could destroy the Haotian Sect?" Qian Renxue asked directly.
She knew Xiaoxue's abilities well.
Xiaoxue nodded. "The Haotian Sect brought this upon themselves. I thought Tang Yuehua would warn them and they'd restrain themselves after learning Sidong's identity. Who would've thought they'd send the Fifth and Seventh Elders to kidnap him?"
"So you two acted accordingly and broke the sect from within." Qian Renxue smiled. She had guessed right.
"Exactly!" Xiaoxue grinned.
"Speaking of which… Why're you here instead of with my brother?" Qian Renxue raised a brow. Normally, this girl never left Sidong's side.
"Don't tell me he's in danger again?" she asked nervously.
"Relax. Sidong's perfectly fine. He's… doing unspeakable things with Zhuqing right now, so I came here to avoid being an accidental third wheel." Xiaoxue smiled knowingly.
"Unspeakable things?"
Qian Renxue finally understood. The two girls exchanged a look and chuckled. No words needed.

With the Haotian Sect gone, everything had been peaceful lately.
Sidong often went back and forth between the academy and his sister's place. He still remembered that night when he brought Zhuqing over — his sister's expression was practically that of an overenthusiastic aunt.
She even teased him repeatedly about when she could become an aunt for real.
Sidong wasn't in a rush. Zhu Zhuqing, on the other hand, had been blushing nonstop that night.
Scene shift.After five days and nights of travel, Ghost Douluo and Yue Guan returned to Spirit Hall.
Before Bibi Dong lay six wooden boxes, stained with dried blood. Inside were the severed heads of Tang Xiao and the five Haotian Elders.
"Good. The Haotian Sect has been eliminated. What did the Judgement Elder say?" Bibi Dong asked.
"He didn't say a word. Just stood there, towering as always." Yue Guan replied.
Bibi Dong smiled. That matched Qian Daoliu's character perfectly.
The Haotian Sect had always been Spirit Hall's greatest enemy. Qian Daoliu, as its helm, could not tolerate their existence.
If not for the old promise with Tang Chen, the Haotian Sect would've been erased decades ago.

To be honest, I'm more and more convinced he's the one who destroyed the Strength Clan."
"What do you mean might? It's definitely him!" Tang Hao snapped. "Titan and I nearly killed him. The brat got lucky and had a fusion skill to boost his power. Otherwise, I'd have killed him and avenged Xiao San already!"
Tang Hao's hatred was overflowing.

He gasped several times, unable to speak.
"What about the Haotian Sect!? Speak!" Yuehua's heart tightened.
Tang Hao, hiding in the shadows, felt a chill pierce his bones. His remaining left hand clenched tightly.
"The Haotian Sect is gone…"The messenger fell to his knees."I went to deliver the message. No one came down from the mountain, so I went up to investigate. And then…"
"And then what!? Speak!" Yuehua's voice trembled. The Haotian Sect was her home. Everyone there was her family.
"The sect was destroyed… All disciples dead. And… Sect Master Tang Xiao and the Five Elders — their heads were missing. They're all dead!"

Snow began to fall heavily. Tang Hao's black cloak turned white. His heart sank even deeper, praying that the messenger had lied.
But when he crossed the frozen iron bridge and reached the sect gates…
He froze.
Most of the sect was buried under snow.The gatekeeper disciples were half-buried in ice, stiff and long dead.
Holding back tears, Tang Hao dug through the snow and entered the sect.
The Haotian Sect was a wasteland.Corpses lay everywhere — disciples he grew up with, juniors he recognized… all dead.
When he reached the main hall, he collapsed.
Here, the bodies were the most numerous.Corpses lay scattered, blood frozen into dark red ice. Some bodies were missing limbs. The scene was horrifying beyond words.
