"Then what do you take the child for?" Goku asked angrily, staring straight at Gu Yuena as he questioned her.
"The child…" Gu Yuena froze, her expression blank for a moment, pausing for several beats.
Indeed, all Gu Yuena was thinking about right now was the future of the soul beast race. What, exactly, was she treating the child as, casually deciding her lifelong fate like this?
And from Gu Yuena's tone, it was clear that she was merely regarding the child as a tool to revive the soul beast race.
At present, Gu Yuena had no feelings for Goku at all—she only urgently needed the bloodline within him. It was nothing like the original storyline, where she had feelings for Tang Wulin.

"Gu Yuena!" Goku snorted coldly. It seemed this woman truly wouldn't give up until she hit a dead end.
"You saw it that day too, didn't you—the power I unleashed…" Goku looked at Gu Yuena with a half-smile.
"If you remain this stubborn, I don't mind using that power right now to completely erase you!"
With a flip of his palm, Goku summoned his Golden Cudgel Martial Soul. The golden staff tip gleamed brilliantly as it pointed straight at the beautiful Gu Yuena.
Goku had already thought it through—using forbidden techniques was absolutely not an option.
It wasn't that he feared the God of Slaughter, nor was he afraid of the ferocious beasts outside.
It was because of Zamasu, far away on the other side of Douluo Star, within the Holy Spirit Cult of the Sun Moon Continent.
That guy wasn't even on the same level as the people of Douluo Continent. He also possessed forbidden techniques—and those came with side effects.
The side effects drastically weakened one's strength. Back then, the system said this was meant to be training, saying things like how some transmigrators could even eliminate the system's abilities.

"Isn't that obvious enough?" Goku shook his head. This woman was already knocking on death's door.
"Hmph~" Gu Yuena tilted her head and let out a light chuckle with a smile.
"I am Lord Dragon God's incarnation, and I inherited part of his strategy and memories."
When the Dragon God was cleaved apart by the God of Slaughter, the Golden Dragon King inherited the body, the Silver Dragon King inherited abilities, and both inherited portions of wisdom and memories.
It was just that Gu Yuena inherited more in terms of wisdom.
"I don't believe you can still use that level of power. And even if you can, once the duration ends, you will definitely suffer severe injuries—or even perish!" Gu Yuena spoke softly as she walked barefoot toward Goku.
During this entire process, Goku tried to retreat, but Gu Yuena's spatial control and raw power were simply too great—he couldn't move even a single step.
Gu Yuena smiled lightly, casually pushing aside the Golden Cudgel pointed at her face, using her power to restrain Goku completely.
"When I observed you with my spiritual power that day—after you fired that blue beam and killed the human Title Douluo…"
"You slowly descended and knelt on the ground, crying. I even thought at the time that it was your first time killing someone, and that you couldn't bear such a bloody scene," Gu Yuena pursed her lips, clearly displeased by Goku's reaction.
"But then, that white lotus that flew out from between your brows was wrapped in a mysterious power that even I couldn't decipher."
"After that, the lotus actually resurrected a human soul—and even more unbelievable, it repaired her shattered body."
Gu Yuena's tone grew increasingly astonished. This was also one of the reasons she had summoned Goku.
Then Gu Yuena extended her hand, purple soul power spilling from her palm.
It formed a brilliant, beautiful star map, infinitely magnifying the position of Douluo Star within the galaxy.
Only then did it become apparent that Douluo Star was enveloped by a layer of yellow light—a layer seemingly invisible from outer space.
"This is Douluo Star. That yellow light layer is the power of laws surrounding it," Gu Yuena said, plucking out a point from the star map and showing it to Goku.
Goku rolled his eyes at her and said, "Of course I know that's Douluo Star. I'm from the 21st century, damn it. I've seen other planets too."
And as he looked at that yellow barrier, Goku felt it more and more clearly—his Saiyan bloodline was definitely not being suppressed by the world will of Douluo Continent.
What he felt was a vacancy in his bloodline, not the sensation of suppression.
It was like a sheet of A4 paper—right now, Goku felt like he was only a small corner of it, while the vast remaining portion was completely unreachable.
Goku made a very bold guess: his Super Saiyan bloodline was absolutely not being suppressed—it was far more likely that that damn system hadn't given him the full version!
Otherwise, how could he possibly feel this way?
Gu Yuena, however, ignored Goku's remarks and continued speaking to herself:
"The dead cannot be revived—this is a law of the entire world. Yet that lotus crossed the laws themselves to accomplish such a thing."
"And that's not the most important part. The most important thing is that I discovered that power of yours vanished as if it had evaporated—disappearing for no reason at all."
Confusion was written all over Gu Yuena's face. The more she thought about it, the more wrong it felt.
Her purple eyes locked onto Goku with ill intent—but not the kind between men and women.
What radiated from her gaze was an icy, piercing chill.
"At first, I thought you had discovered me, but I never felt the slightest unease of being watched."
"But astonishingly, that power truly disappeared—as if it had never existed in this world at all. According to Lord Dragon God's memories…"
"Such a powerful force, even if it shrank or vanished instantly, should have left behind some residual energy. Yet the power you used left not a single trace of energy."
"That is absolutely impossible! And I also discovered that when you killed that Title Douluo, the soul power within your body was roughly at the peak of a human level 50 Soul King…"
"But the moment that power disappeared, the soul power in your body was mysteriously sealed—or drained—dropping straight down to the human level 30 range."
"That gap in power was like heaven and earth apart. So I concluded that while using that power, your body must suffer certain damage."
A confident smile rose at the corner of Gu Yuena's lips, her brows revealing an expression of having seen through everything.
As Gu Yuena explained all this, Goku frowned, utterly stunned.
That's right—when he had used the forbidden technique and unleashed complete Super Saiyan power, his soul power hadn't changed at all.
During the forbidden state, his soul power level remained exactly the same.
Only after the duration ended, when the side effects kicked in, was his strength heavily reduced.
Damn it!
She actually noticed something like that.
