He seemed to be probing for something.
"Do you have a hairdryer?" Melody Thorne asked as she towel-dried her damp hair, her gaze calm.
"Under the cabinet."
Melody went to the cabinet, took out the hairdryer, and stepped back into the bathroom to dry her hair.
Calmly, she put the hairdryer away, then under Jared Quinn's gaze, climbed onto his bed, slipped into his covers, keeping some distance to avoid touching his injured area, lay down quietly, then closed her eyes, "Let's get some sleep."
Jared Quinn "..."
He turned his head, watching her sleep, his nostrils filled with her inviting scent, wishing he could just hold her. How could he sleep with such thoughts?
Jared moved a little, the pain unable to stop his determination to hold her.
"Jared," Melody said, eyes still closed, seeing through his childish intention, "Sleep properly, or I'll leave right now, leaving you to sleep alone in the hospital."
She threatened him aloud.
