Melody Thorne spoke more urgently, but she didn't realize that her current expression was much better than just being completely unemotional.
Jared's steps didn't stop; instead, he walked faster, reaching in front of her within a few strides.

"Shut up!" Jared put down the briefcase and crouched down, his large hand touching the wires, his eyes focused and analyzing.
