"Where is she?" Melody Thorne lay on the yacht, recovering her strength, not noticing the man's aura beside her was chillingly cold.
"She's right on the shore," Timothy Lockwood steered the yacht to the edge.
Melody had just stood up and moved a bit, but fell back onto the yacht again, having wasted too much energy underwater and leaving her weak.
"Foolish woman," Jared Quinn grabbed her arm and pulled her up, his striking features now more somber than ever.
"If you hadn't come, would I have stayed in the sea for so long?" Melody scoffed, raising the handcuffs that had originally chained her hands to show the man beside her. "If you hadn't gone down, I would have come up already."

Damn it, this woman had been fully prepared, she could even unlock the handcuffs and had brought a dagger to prevent seaweed entanglement, and even had a small oxygen device in her mouth. She clearly didn't need his rescue.
