Maya noticed that Kiki took a long time to return and sat back in a secluded corner.
Her eyes were slightly red, and she kept taking out tissues to wipe them, as if she had suffered some grievance.
She wasn't like this when she left just now...
Maya looked over to where Eric was supposed to be, and saw that he wasn't there either.
Maya couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed that the male and female leads now had some interaction. Their way of getting along was like frenemies; occasional quarrels were normal. Seeing Kiki crying now, Eric was probably still thinking about her in his heart!
Before leaving, Yolanda Sawyer called both Ian and Maya to her room.
Yolanda asked Maya to sit next to her and affectionately held her hand.
"Maya, don't be afraid. If there's anything, Grandma will stand up for you. Tell Grandma, is Ian still not staying in your bedroom?"
