"To think the illusion would actually bait them out," Fey said.
"I told you my spell would work," Raze said with a grin, then looked toward the town. "Alright, let's head to Oden. It's time we take down the viscount." Raze said. He got back on his horse and rode toward the town with Fey riding behind.
Inside the town, the scouts that had watched the entire scene unfold rushed toward the viscount's manor, while the small town guards that remained inside the town moved to block Raze and Fey.
Raze made it to the gates that had been shut to them. He got off from the horse as well as Fey and walked to the gates.
"Your viscount is now a criminal under the Vermilion law. If you stand by him, you'll suffer a fate worse than what those knights suffered," Raze said from outside the gates, but there was no response.
