Since the issue with the taxis had been settled, Raze decided it was time to deal with the food for Fey. He asked Fey, Elaine, and Ella to wait for him in the sitting room while he headed to his room.
He entered, sat on the bed, and from there accessed the Dimensional Library.
The moment he appeared inside, he noticed the librarian floating beside a table, quietly reading a book. But as soon as the librarian spotted him, it snapped the book shut and immediately flew up toward the upper floors.
Raze frowned. The behavior was strange.
Curious, he walked over to the table to check which book the librarian had been reading. But the moment his fingers touched the cover, a violent force surged out and slammed into him, throwing him backward.
He hit the ground hard, a groan escaping his lips.
