"Hmm? No." Qin Yun looked up at him blankly, as if asking why he would think that.
Pei Yan looked down at her for a while, not noticing anything unusual, but that strange feeling lingered. Maybe he was just hungry?
"No need to follow us; we'll just walk on our own," Pei Yan said to the cameraman who was still following them.
The cameraman hesitated for a moment, then turned off the camera and stopped following.
The two of them continued to walk forward, passed a vast area, and arrived at the main street. Pei Yan glanced around and asked, "There's a vendor selling candied hawthorn ahead, do you want some?"
Qin Yun nodded.
There weren't many varieties of candied hawthorn, so Qin Yun got a little of each and packed some for the others as well.
With something to eat, Pei Yan noticed that the unusual feeling from earlier had significantly diminished, and he breathed a sigh of relief. It indeed was because of hunger.
"Is it delicious?" Pei Yan's gaze fell on her puffed-up cheeks.
