When Summer Lowell was brought to The Huxley Residence by Tina Huxley, Justin Huxley was also there.
She looked at the familiar figure in the courtyard, feeling a heaviness in her heart.
This morning, Justin mentioned over the phone that he had to meet a troublesome client and might not be home until late at night.
But now it's only afternoon, and he's already back. Even if he didn't meet the client, he should typically be at the company assisting Tina's father with business matters at this time.
It's very likely that he was called back by Tina, given his unusual presence here.
Tina glanced at the approaching Justin and then at Summer, who was keeping her head down and seemed visibly uneasy, and sneered with schadenfreude, "Now you're scared. What were you up to before?"
Justin glared at her and gestured with his face: "Mother is upstairs in the study painting. She wants to see you as soon as you arrive. She has something to discuss."
