Gu Yuan slowly opened her eyes.
The first person she saw was Sheng Yi, who was using a tissue to wipe her tears.
Seeing Gu Yuan awake, Sheng Yi sighed with relief, "Yuanyuan, you're finally awake. Did you know that even in your sleep, you kept crying, and it scared me so much that besides wiping your tears, I had no idea how to wake you up."
Whenever Sheng Yi spoke, her voice was nasally, and mist filled her eyes.
Seeing the tears streaming down Gu Yuan's face made her eyes feel hot too. Luckily, Gu Yuan woke up, allowing her to finally breathe a sigh of relief.
"How long did I sleep?" she asked.
Her voice was hoarse and rough, as if she had slept for a long time.
Sheng Yi gestured, saying, "Three days."
Three days...
Since coming back from the sea, three days had already passed.
She felt as if something had changed, yet nothing had changed at all; it was unclear exactly what it was.
