The electric cart wound its way up the winding four-lane mountain road, heading straight for the summit. Before reaching the top, the asphalt road split off to form another path leading to Mansion No. 3.
Quentin Thorne sat in the passenger seat of the electric cart, observing the road, and asked, "This road is easy to drive, but what made you think of purchasing land at such a high elevation back then?"
Simon Forrester turned the steering wheel slightly and replied, "The higher, the pricer. I originally wanted to buy Mansion No. 1, but No. 1 costs an extra hundred million. I even offered an extra hundred million, but the owner wasn't willing to sell. So I asked from No. 1 downwards, and it happened that No. 3 was willing to sell, so I bought it."
