The founding of the Black Order caused a huge stir across the world. After all, since their birth—even generations before—the positions of the three major organizations had never been shaken.
But now the World Government suddenly announced the creation of a new organization, and it immediately took an important position. Does this mean the world is about to change again?
The three original organizations basically represented the World Government's shield, spear, and cage. The Gate of Justice on Enies Lobby had never been breached, Marine Headquarters was the strongest power on the seas, and Impel Down had never had a successful escape. So what does the Black Order represent?
It is based right in the New World, where the most and strongest pirates are. Does this mean the World Government is preparing for a new round of pirate hunting? And word from Golden Lion's ship says a new force has made contact with the World Government. Could the founding of the Black Order be related to that?
Or maybe even to the Shikon Jewel that has been causing such a stir across the seas?
Almost every major force turned its eyes toward this new organization. From the day it was founded, the Black Order has been in the global spotlight. Even wandering crews and small pirate bands in the New World were reading about it in the papers.
While everyone's attention was drawn to the Black Order, Toguro had already brought the Shikon Jewel shards taken from the Little Demon Dragon to a sea area in the middle of the New World.
Toguro was neither a Devil Fruit user from the One Piece world nor an ordinary human. The ocean and land weren't much different to him. He could move through the New World on his own without issue. He was different.
Right now, he stood above the sea, his gaze piercing through the waters as if he could see deep into the ocean.
"Finally, something worth seeing."
He stopped here and began diving down into the depths.
He planned to use the Shikon Jewel shards to attract the attention of the strongest fighters and start a new war no less intense than the God Valley battle. Of course, he wouldn't just tell everyone the shards were here. They would have to discover that on their own.
He didn't know how deep he had gone when he finally reached the world beneath the sea. Countless fish swam past him, even huge sharks and giant squids, but they weren't what he was after.
He was looking for a Sea King!
Sea Kings live mostly in the Calm Belts on both sides of the Grand Line, and some are incredibly huge. But there are also some in the deep seas of the Grand Line itself. He had stopped here because he had found a massive Sea King that suited his plans.
Boom…
After diving who knows how deep, Toguro sensed a huge life force getting closer and closer. Then he heard a sound like a raging storm—and suddenly, a massive tentacle appeared in his view!
That tentacle was so thick it was probably nearly a kilometer long. For a tentacle that huge to exist at this depth, the pressure it had to endure must be unimaginable. It was a squid arm, with giant suction cups all over it. A single slap from that thing could probably sink an entire fleet.
Finding such a massive Sea King made this trip worth it.
Deep in the sea, Toguro grinned. He wasn't human—he was a monster. He didn't need to breathe like humans do. While the water pressure here had some effect, it didn't bother him much. And he wasn't here to fight it anyway.
Four shards of the Shikon Jewel appeared in his hand. To make sure what happened next caught the attention of all the top fighters in the New World, he was willing to use all four shards. Whether they ended up in the hands of pirates or the Marines would depend on their own skills.
He threw a punch, entering his 100% state mid-swing. That punch, with its incredible power, tore a bloody hole straight through the tentacle that had swung at him, and he passed through the wound.
A deafening roar of pain echoed from below, and a colossal shadow began to rise from the depths.
It was a massive squid, easily a thousand meters long, maybe even several thousand. By all logic, such a creature shouldn't exist—but in this world, anything is possible.
Each suction cup on its arms was more than 400 meters wide, like a small mountain. Just looking at it would paralyze most people with fear. The squid had two huge eyes, like giant blue ice orbs, now burning with rage because of Toguro's attack.
This king of the deep sea had probably never been hurt like this since it was born—and likely never would have been. But Toguro had come.
"If a monster like this appeared on the surface, it would probably become a force like Zunesha, huh?"
Far away, Genichi watched through Toguro's eyes and couldn't help but feel excited at the sight of this massive Sea King.
The One Piece world has no shortage of giant creatures. Zunesha was one—able to crush someone as strong as Jack the Drought with a single strike of its trunk. And there was also the huge shadow in the Florian Triangle. Even without showing their full strength, their size alone made their power unquestionable.
Toguro watched the enraged squid as another massive tentacle came whipping toward him, its suction cups opening wide as if to swallow him whole. This time, he didn't punch. He opened his hand and let the shards fall into the suction cups.
The next moment, the dark space opened behind him. Toguro slipped inside, and the tentacle slammed through the water where he had been, missing its target.
As the four shards merged into the squid's body, a strange light spread across its skin. It went into a frenzy, swelling in size again—becoming even larger. And it was still growing!
Now furious at Toguro's sudden disappearance, it lashed out wildly, stirring the ocean into chaos as it surged upward, desperate to break through to the surface. It had to destroy the one who dared to challenge it!
