As she spoke, the Princess forcefully stomped her foot down, causing the Maid severe pain. The Maid kept pleading for mercy, "Spare me, Princess! This servant was wrong. I won't dare look at what belongs to Your Highness again!"
At that moment, they were in front of a trinket stall. The vendor was an elderly man with some hearing issues. He hadn't clearly heard what was being said before him, but he understood that the young girl only glanced at the lark he made, only for it to be knocked to the ground by another girl.
The old man felt this wasn't right. Despite how beautiful they were, their hearts were black. So he advised, "Good girl, I'll give this to you, don't ruin the peace."
The vendor picked up the lark to hand it to the Princess, but before it could touch the Princess's hand, it was struck down.
"How dare a mere commoner touch this Princess! Someone, take him down!"
