After Mia Sutton hung up the phone, she called Jensen Sterling again, but still no one answered.
After finishing her dance practice in the afternoon, Mia thought for a while and eventually decided to take her things and go home.
By the time she arrived home, it was already past six in the afternoon. Mia opened the door and peeked inside while changing into slippers, tentatively calling out, "Mr. Sterling, are you home?"
The house was quiet, and no one responded. Mia glanced down at the shoes placed by the shoe cabinet.

The shoes are still here though.
After changing her shoes, Mia walked to the door of Jensen Sterling's room and gently knocked: "Mr. Sterling?"
Still, no one answered.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Mia turned the doorknob and opened the door. The room was a bit dim, with the curtains drawn.
The room's décor was simple, mostly in solid colors, clearly Jensen Sterling's style.
