Mia Sutton sat in the car, feeling inexplicably anxious. She had already anticipated that her parents would be quite angry; she could imagine the suffocating scene.
Beside her, Jensen Sterling watched her nervousness and smiled gently, softly reassuring her, "It's okay, just relax. I'll talk to your parents when the time comes."
Mia glanced at him, then nodded after a moment.

She had a key, but since Jensen was with her, it was better to knock.
Aunt Song came to open the door. Seeing Mia, she glanced once more at the person beside her, hesitating to speak.
