Morning at Sakurasou—
"Yukino, you're so cute." Akira Fujimiya lowered his head and gently kissed her cheek.
"Apart from that, is there nothing else?" Yukinoshita Yukino rolled her eyes at him, her tone soft but tinged with mock annoyance.
"I really want to move forward to our married life," Akira said, pulling her into a tight embrace.
Yukinoshita Yukino heard this but didn't respond immediately. There was a faint trace of anticipation in her eyes, though she tried to hide it behind her usual calm expression.
"I'll go wash up first, then call Yui. That girl always needs me to help her get dressed. It's really…" Yukino sighed.
"I'll go call Yui and help her get dressed," Akira said, his tone playful.
"Don't joke like that," Yukinoshita Yukino blushed as soon as she heard it. "I'll do it."
"Is Yukino-chan jealous~, if you also want me to help you put on your clothes, I'd be happy to do so." Akira smiled teasingly and finally let go of her.
"I don't need you to help me get dressed," Yukinoshita Yukino shot him a glare, her ears slightly red. As she walked upstair.
Akira just smiled, knowing how easily flustered Yukino could be.
At night, she didn't mind being close to him—but in broad daylight, if he seriously offered to help her dress, she would probably be too embarrassed to even raise her head.
It was precisely because of Akira and Yukino's teasing that Yuigahama Yui didn't refuse his help putting on her clothes that morning.
If other girls had been around.... Well, Yui wouldn't not be able to faced them for a whole month without her face heating up, dangerously.
....
Breakfast Time—
"I really want Yukinon to wake me up every day," Yuigahama Yui said cheerfully as she took a bite of toast.
"Yui, even I don't get that kind of treatment," Akira replied, glancing at her with mock disappointment.
"From now on, if I stay here overnight, I can wake you up every day." Yukinoshita Yukino chuckled lightly.
"Yukinon's so nice," Yui said happily, leaning on her shoulder.
"Yukino, I want you to wake me up too—wake me up with a kiss." Akira looked at her with a grin.
"If you were Sleeping Beauty, I'd wake you up with a kiss every day," Yukino replied with a faint smile, eyes filled with quiet affection.
"Akira-kun, there's a skirt in my room," Yui suddenly said with a mischievous look. "Do you want to try it on?"
"You two…" Akira sighed, though a smile tugged at his lips.
He reached out and held both of their hands.
Then, without warning, he leaned forward—first kissing Yuigahama Yui's soft cheek, then gently brushing his lips against Yukinoshita Yukino's cheek.
""!!! ""
Both girls froze, their faces instantly turning bright red.
Neither of them said a word as Akira released their hands and continued eating breakfast as if nothing had happened.

On the Way to Sobu High—
On their way to school, Yukinoshita Yukino and Kawasaki Saki were walking ahead, engaged in a deep discussion about the future of manga publishing.
Akira and Yuigahama Yui followed a few steps behind.
Yui, who wasn't interested in business topics, pouted slightly.
"I really envy Yukino and Saki. I don't understand anything they talk about," Yui muttered under her breath.
"If you want to join in their conversations, read more books and try to surpass Saki in grades," Akira said as he took Yui's hand.
"Let's forget about my grades," Yui replied awkwardly, scratching her cheek.
"I'm a little worried you won't get into college," Akira sighed with a teasing tone.
"Well… I'll try my best," Yui mumbled, though both of them knew her chances weren't great.
"It doesn't matter," Akira said casually. "When Yukino and I go to college, we'll live off-campus. If you don't pass the entrance exam, you can stay home, draw illustrations, and prepare meals for us."
Yui's face turned slightly red. That was actually what she had secretly imagined.
"By then, I'll probably have already had a showdown with Aunt Asuna," Akira muttered, looking ahead.
"Akira-kun, do your best," Yui said with a soft smile.
"When that time comes, I'll need your help. If I can't convince Aunt Asuna, then we…"
"I don't want to leave you," Yui said firmly. "So I'll ask my mother to let me be with you. Even if she kicks me out, I'll still say it."
"Then you'll be a homeless little dummy," Akira said, patting her head affectionately.
"I'll be your and Yukino's maid," Yui said with a grin. "I'll take care of your college life and look after your children."
Akira laughed softly and patted her hair again.
Yui smiled gently—it might have seemed silly, but there was nothing false in her words.
She meant every word.
.....
At School,
When they arrived at Sobu High, Akira noticed that Hiratsuka-sensei was still on leave.
He didn't call to ask about her condition, nor did he mention it.
Right now, the thing that occupied his thoughts most was that the month was almost over—which meant his next ability from the system was about to unlock.
Based on Isshiki Iroha's current favorability level, he could easily secure the A-rank reward.
Thinking about it, since obtaining the system, it seemed that only Yukinoshita Yukino had ever caused him any kind of loss.
But even that loss didn't feel bad.
If he had pursued Yukino from the start, he probably wouldn't have had the chance to get close to anyone else.
"Could it be that, in some strange way, I made the right choice?" Akira murmured under his breath.
At the very beginning, he'd been confused and hadn't gone after Yukino right away.
It wasn't until the system mission related to Miura Yumiko appeared that he began talking with her, in hopes of increasing both of their favorability level in the same time.
Thinking about it now, maybe their connection was inevitable.
If he hadn't been forced to interact with Yukino, they might never have spoken like this, never shared breakfast, never held hands.
Smiling faintly, Akira pulled out his phone and sent her a message:
"Yukino, I just realized something. Our fate seems destined. I didn't plan to pursue you at first—it was only after we talked that our story began."
A few minutes later, his phone vibrated.
Yukinoshita Yukino had replied.
"Baka (Idiot), If I wasn't a little interested in you, you wouldn't even have had the chance to join the Service Club."
Akira stared at the message and chuckled to himself.
"She's right…"
.....
Lunch Break – Student Council Office
At noon, Akira made his way to the Student Council Office.
For once, he wasn't late.
Meguri Shiromeguri had sent him a message earlier, saying she brought her guitar.
Meanwhile, Isshiki Iroha had texted that she went to the Service Club to see Yukinoshita Yukino.
Akira had no doubt that Iroha and Yukino would eventually get along.
Iroha was clever—she knew that earning Yukino's approval was the only way she'd have a real chance to be with him. (Even if they have done it—halfway maybe)
When Akira entered the Student Council Office, he saw Meguri sitting by the window, tuning her guitar.
The instrument looked worn but well-loved—an old guitar that seemed to carry many stories.
"Let's eat first," Akira said, taking a seat on the sofa. "After lunch, you can play something for me."
"Alright," Meguri nodded and smiled warmly.
Then she glanced toward the door. "Isn't Iroha-chan coming?"
"She went to the clubroom," Akira replied while opening his lunchbox.
Today's meal was made by Yukinoshita Yukino—it looked as delicious as ever.
Akira began eating quietly, savoring each bite.
Meguri also ate in silence. She'd always liked the tranquil atmosphere of the Student Council room.
Before Akira joined, she was often the only one there.
Even so, she still came every day—organizing documents, cleaning the desks, and keeping the space tidy.
To her, this room wasn't just an office—it was like a second home.
Only here could she truly relax.
.....
After Lunch—
Once they finished eating, Akira took out two small desserts and placed one in front of Meguri.
She smiled gratefully and set her guitar on her lap, adjusting the strings one last time.
Then, her fingers began to move.
A light, lively melody filled the room.
Akira leaned back on the sofa, watching her play as sunlight streamed through the window. The golden rays reflected off the guitar's body, filling the room with a gentle warmth.
The music felt like a confession—soft, sincere, filled with emotion.
As he listened, a scene unfolded in his mind:
A young man stood beneath blooming flowers, strumming a guitar.
A shy girl stood nearby, her face glowing with both embarrassment and joy.
The young man looked at her tenderly, his eyes expressing everything he couldn't say aloud.
When the song ended, the two embraced.
Years passed—they got married, built a life together, and had a daughter.
One day, the man handed the same guitar to his little girl.
She held it carefully, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Dad, can you teach me how to play guitar?" she asked.
"Of course," the man replied with a smile. "I'll teach you a song I wrote long ago. Don't tell your mom, though. This song… it's proof of how we met."
The melody faded into silence, leaving only warmth in Akira's chest.
{T/N: ..... Don't ask me}
He looked at Meguri, who smiled faintly as she lowered her guitar.
"That was beautiful," he said quietly.
"Thank you," she replied, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "It's a song about memories… and promises."
Akira nodded slowly, his gaze drifting once more to the window, where the sunlight still lingered—soft, warm, and endless.
