Chapter 125 - Chapter 125

But—

Looking at it from a negative perspective, the young lady had managed to use Her Royal Highness the Princess to recommend a comic, which meant her status must be quite high.

What if she asked him to do something he didn't want to do?

This incident might not have been done purely with good intentions; perhaps the young lady was simply showing off her influence.

"....Malice or kindness, which one is it?" Akira Fujimiya wondered silently.

He didn't ask Yukinoshita Haruno either.

Everything was mere speculation; there was no need to question it now. When he was qualified to meet the young lady in person, he would naturally understand her motives.

After pondering this, Akira headed upstairs.

When Hanada Yui's assistant saw him, she quickly bowed.

"Master Akira."

Akira nodded, saying nothing further, and walked toward Hanada Yui's office.

He didn't even knock on the door, simply pushing it open and stepping inside.

Hanada Yui looked up and quickly stood, pouring a cup of tea for him.

Akira sat on the sofa, taking his time before inquiring about business. Hanada Yui swiftly set down the tea, opened her laptop, and began showing Akira the web version of Future Comics. (The manga app name)

"As you mentioned before, we've divided the website into several areas. The larger sections recommend popular mangas, while the smaller areas highlight promising titles and adaptations…"

Hanada Yui explained the website's layout in detail.

Beyond the homepage, there were several other pages, each with limited advertising space.

This was only the first version of the site, which would be updated and optimized in the future.

"Classification is important, as are reader votes and comments," Akira said after reviewing the site.

"Should we set these as lists as well?" Hanada Yui asked, taking notes.

"Yes. Recommendation tickets, vote counts based on reader level and payment tier, a ranked list, and gifts—both good and bad—should allow readers to decide what to vote for," Akira continued.

Hanada Yui recorded everything meticulously.

The more she wrote, the more impressed—and slightly intimidated—she became.

Akira's suggestions improved many aspects she hadn't even considered.

By the time he finished, half an hour had passed.

Hanada Yui poured him another cup of tea and opened the manga app — Future comics.

Akira's brows immediately furrowed.

"There are too many ads. Remove them. All mobile apps should be simple so readers can easily accept them," he said.

"Yes," Hanada Yui agreed.

"If we focus more on top-ups, we can give limited-time comic points during festivals or special events," Akira continued.

"Alright," Hanada Yui replied, taking careful notes.

"Profile picture frames, name colors, and even page backgrounds can serve as incentives for paying readers," Akira added.

"...Noted," Hanada Yui repeated, marveling at his insight.

Akira kept giving suggestions, drawing on his knowledge of digital reading in his original world and even mechanics he knew from games.

Hanada Yui was filled with admiration for him.

"What I've said doesn't need to be implemented all at once. Many functions can be rolled out gradually," Akira added.

"Yes, I understand," Hanada Yui said, realizing the wisdom in his approach. Rolling out features slowly would avoid overwhelming users.

"Once the software is operational, you should start planning the next phase," Akira said, glancing at Hanada Yui's laptop.

"...A video website?" Hanada Yui asked, guessing his intention.

"Yes. There's also Future Animation, a company jointly invested by Future Comics Publishing House and Flash Animation. Once the time comes, we'll own the copyrights and can authorize the video website to play the Anime directly," Akira explained.

"Creating animations requires a lot of money," Hanada Yui reminded him.

"As long as we ensure every Anime can recover its cost, there's no problem," Akira said lightly.

"Then—" Hanada Yui began to speak but was interrupted.

"The future belongs to video. Short videos, long videos—if it's interesting, it attracts attention. Imagine an app that lets you watch animations(/anime), TV, play games, and listen to music. Would you delete such app?" Akira asked.

Hanada Yui opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"There's also live streaming. The ultimate model of video platform where they can integrate with everyone. It will become indispensable," Akira continued, in his calm voice.

"Y-your ideas are very bold," Hanada Yui admitted after a moment.

"Let's start with animation and proceed step by step. Right now, only you and Mrs Yukinoshita (Haruno) know of my plan. In the future, she might leave the Yukinoshita family and cooperate with me personally or on their behalf," Akira said with a meaningful tone.

"...Young Master Akira has done me a favor. I will always stand by your side," Hanada Yui said earnestly, after some pause.

.....

Akira stayed at Future Comics until eight in the evening before leaving with Saki Kawasaki.

His efficiency and insight had impressed both Yumiko Sato and Hanada Yui.

His memory, judgment, and actionable suggestions rivaled that of several assistants combined.

Saki Kawasaki had followed him closely, helping with various tasks.

Hanada Yui's assistant personally escorted them to the station.

"Does she send you here every night?" Akira asked, watching Hanada's car depart.

"Her house seems to be nearby," Saki Kawasaki nodded.

Akira didn't comment further.

At the station, he sent a message to Hanada Yui.

It wasn't feasible to go directly to her house on the way, and Akira knew the assistant lived near the Future Comics Publishing House, not the station.

This arrangement of escorting Saki Kawasaki must have been Hanada's idea.

He didn't thank Hanada Yui directly but requested that the assistant receive a bonus and choose a new car for herself.

Hanada Yui's reply was simple: she would arrange a new car and ensure Saki Kawasaki could take her driver's test upon reaching the proper age.

Akira saw the reply and quickly put away his phone.

As the two boarded the tram and found a seat.

The carriage was filled with tired office workers likely returning from work.

"Akira Kun, if you became president, it would be really hard," Saki Kawasaki said softly, after some time.

"Working feels good, but I wouldn't do it forever," Akira replied.

"Then can you leave it to me. I'll work for you," Saki Kawasaki said earnestly.

"Some things require me personally. Once my plans are realized, it won't be difficult, and I can hand everything to you. If you want to be president, I'll even give it to you," Akira said gently.

"I'll try my best," Saki Kawasaki replied with determination.

"The most important part is getting my approval," Akira said with a teasing smile.

Saki Kawasaki blushed, slowly leaning into his arms.

Akira stretched out a hand and wrapped it around her slender waist.

.....

Sakurasou—

Akira was stunned upon arriving at Kawasaki's house.

Three additional pairs of shoes were in the entrance.

With his sharp eyes and memory, he immediately recognized them: Yuigahama Yui, Ebina Hina, and Miura Yumiko.

"Akira-kun! Saki!" Yuigahama Yui ran out from the living room to greet them.

"Yuigahama-san," Saki Kawasaki said, slightly surprised.

"Yumiko and Hina, aren't you going home tonight?" Akira asked Yuigahama Yui.

"This…" Yui avoided his gaze.

"It's okay to stay overnight. Go to bed early; you have classes tomorrow," Akira said, patting her head gently.

"Okay," Yui replied, smiling and nodding.

They walked into the living room.

Yumiko Miura and Hina Ebina were watching TV with Kawasaki Keika. Saki Kawasaki looked at them silently and headed to the kitchen.

Ebina Hina smiled at AKeik. While, Yumiko Miura appeared a bit nervous.

Akira sat beside her and held her hand gently.

"I…" Yumiko started.

"Welcome to Sakurasou," Akira interrupted,as he suddenly hold her hand.

Yumiko's face brightened, and she gripped his hand tightly.

Yuigahama Yui sat next to Akira.

Seeing the closeness between Akira and Yumiko, she hugged his other arm, putting slight pressure on him.

Akira leaned closer to Yui's ear.

"Come to my bedroom tonight."

"Akira…" Yui blushed.

He didn't give her a chance to refuse and turned his attention back to the TV.

Ten minutes later, dinner was ready.

Akira ate with Saki Kawasaki.

Yui and other have already eaten their dinner.

After cleaning up, she glanced at Hina Ebina and Yumiko Miura, then at Akira.

"Go to bed early. Good night." Akira understood what she was thinking and refrained from teasing her.

"Good night," Saki Kawasaki whispered softly.

.....

Leaving Kawasaki's house,

Akira went upstairs and straight to his bedroom to continue drawing Non Non Biyori.

While, the three girls occupied the small bedroom next door with two futon on the floor. But — The bed was too small for all three.

"Yui, Yumiko, you don't need to mind me. If you want to move to the next room, just discuss it together first," Ebina Hina said with a smile.

""Hina!!""

The two girls blushed, exchanging glances that revealed their mutual thoughts.

"Yui, you… you don't need to worry about me," Yumiko Miura added with a forced smile.
