Chapter 76 - "The Second Flame: Sabo's Returnrince?!"

________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Holy crap!!!

People across all worlds stared in shock at the image before them—Luffy, clutching a blond young man in his arms and sobbing uncontrollably.

No one could process what they were seeing.

Until the next second, when Luffy's trembling voice broke the silence.

"Brother…!"

Brother?!

Luffy's brother?!

That blond man—he was Luffy's brother?!

And not Ace—the one everyone knew about—but another brother, one thought dead ten years ago!

"Whaaaaat?!"

"Wait, wait—so the Straw Hat kid has another brother?!"

"The first one, Fire Fist Ace, already died—and now there's a second brother, Sabo?!"

"So you're telling me Luffy's got another brother just waiting to be sacrificed for character development?!"

"First brother Ace died in Alabasta's timeline… now the second one shows up in Dressrosa. Is this another death flag?"

"C'mon, one brother already died—if the second one goes too, that's just cruel!"

"Well, that's the price of the hero's journey, I guess!"

People across the multiverse were losing it, flooding the chat with disbelief and wild speculation.

"It's really great that Luffy could meet his brother again!"—Tanjiro, from the Demon Slayer world, smiling softly through tears.

"One brother died, another came back from the dead… this brat's got some ridiculous luck."—Zeldris, of the Ten Commandments, snorted.

Not that little Zeldris realized—his own story wasn't all that different. His big brother Meliodas had betrayed the Demon Clan, while the former Archangel Mael had joined the demons and become, in a way, his second brother.

"When God closes a door for Luffy, He opens a window. Let's just hope this new brother doesn't die immediately after showing up."—White-Collar Boss, The Cage World.

Meanwhile, back in the One Piece world, the entire planet was exploding over Sabo's appearance.

Most other worlds only knew him as "Luffy's second brother."

But the locals? Oh, they knew exactly who this man was.

"Wait… that's Sabo—the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army!"

"Five hundred fifty million berry bounty! The Revolution's second-in-command!"

"No way! The No.2 of the world's most dangerous criminal organization is Luffy's brother?!"

"So the first brother was Whitebeard's Second Division Commander, and the second one's Dragon's right-hand man?!"

"Luffy's family background is insane! He's basically royalty!"

Every corner of the world erupted in chaos.

At Marine Headquarters, in Marineford—

"Hmph. Two brothers with flashy résumés? That's nothing compared to the Straw Hat's real background,"a marine muttered mysteriously, immediately drawing everyone's attention.

"Yeah! Compared to his teacher, the legendary pirate Dark King Rayleigh, those two are small fry!"another officer added.

"You're all missing the real bombshell—his true background ties right back to us, the Marines!"someone else chimed in.

"Wait—I remember! Vice Admiral Garp—our hero—is Luffy's grandfather!"

"Not only that—his father is that infamous Revolutionary leader, Dragon!"

"WHAT?! The leader of the Revolutionaries is Luffy's dad?!"

"So that means… Dragon is Garp's son?! What even is this family tree?!"

"A Navy hero for a grandpa, a Revolutionary leader for a dad, and a pirate for a grandson?! What kind of generational chaos is this?!"

"I always thought Luffy was a nobody, some backwater kid—turns out he's a second-gen royal brat!"

"Background King Luffy! The man's got legendary bloodlines on every side!"

The chatter and disbelief spread like wildfire across the Marines.

Even Smoker, who'd never been easily shaken, was speechless.

"So that's why Dragon helped him in Loguetown…" he murmured, finally understanding what had puzzled him for years.

Then—

"Garp!!!" Fleet Admiral Sengoku stormed into the cafeteria, veins bulging."You wanna explain why the Revolutionary Army's Chief of Staff happens to be your grandson's brother?! Don't tell me you didn't know!"

Garp burst out laughing.

"Of course I knew the brat! Sabo was one of those kids running around with Luffy back in the day! We thought he died when his ship got blasted by a Celestial Dragon's cannon! Hah, turns out he's still kicking! Don't worry, Sengoku—I'll give that rascal a good beating next time we meet, for making us worry like that!"

Sengoku's eye twitched.

"…That's not the answer I wanted, you old coot!"

Meanwhile, in the Goa Kingdom of the East Blue—

"What do we do, Father, Mother?! If people find out that the criminal Sabo of the Revolutionary Army is my brother, my chances of marrying the princess are ruined!"cried the sniveling noble, Stelly.

"Calm down, dear. Our son Sabo has been dead for years!"

"Exactly! That Revolutionary scum has nothing to do with us. Pure coincidence they share the same name!"

Sabo's parents hurried to distance themselves, denying all connection.

But far away, in the Windmill Village, a very different scene played out.

In Makino's bar, the mountain bandits were crying and laughing all at once.

"He's alive! Sabo's alive!""He really made it! He didn't die after all!"

Even Dadan, the tough-as-nails foster mother, couldn't hold back her tears.

"Don't cry, Miss Dadan, this is good news!"Makino said gently—though she herself was already crying just as hard.

"You're telling me not to cry? Look at yourself!"

Their laughter and sobs mingled, filling the little bar.

And as the image of the brothers' reunion flickered on the screen,no one was more moved than the three brothers themselves.

"..."
