Sofia could immediately tell that these people were ex military personnels by the way they were dressed. Originally, when she made contact with Brack, she only thought that he was a mercenary with the right resources to help her locate her killer.
Locating her killer meant that she could question him into revealing the person that hired her, and it would crack the case for her. Her main suspect was her uncle, because the evidence was already in her grasp.
But placing him as the only person that orchestrated her demise was not adding up. Sofia was sure that he wasn't working alone. And the best way to prove that was to find the man that directly killed her.
