The wooden ground around her froze and people's movements slowed down. Stone and wind arrows appeared from nothing around her.
"Die!" — at her command, the arrows were sent toward the pack of wolves. Not a single wolf within her range survived, not even the White Night Wolves that had surrounded me — all died.
"Dark, welcome to hell. Serine!!! What are you doing here? Go back to your tent."
I stepped toward them, my legs trembling. I didn't know whether it was because of Dark's skill or because of Serine.
"What do you mean by that? Are you saying I'm too weak? I'm not leaving. You're not my master here!"
Serine got angry at my words — that fool…
"No… ah…" I sighed.
The reason I said that was because I was afraid she might get hurt — or worse — die.
So I made up my mind and decided to protect her with my life until this chaos ends.
