He immediately realized that the man had not been joking.
''So…did he ask who sent you?'' He asked, staring at the door from time to time.
''He didn't. But he called the boss name. He knows the boss sent me.'' The man answered.
''Alright! You don't need to tail him anymore. I'll send the rest of the balance and some more for the hospital fees.'' He said, offering a few apologies to him before hanging up the phone.
Sighing, he pushed the door open and walked back into the room.
By the time he got in, he could see Cleo and Alex already having a full blown eye contest.
''Before you both start, I would have you both know that you aren't competitors.'' The investor said, breaking the ice.
