Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Shrek, the Misguiding Academy

After the Canghui Academy students retreated,

Yun Chuan looked at Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun, who were sprawled on the ground, and slowly said, "Actually, I witnessed your conflict from beginning to end…"

"Ah? Then Teacher Tang, why didn't you act sooner?!" Ning Rongrong, who overheard this, immediately exclaimed with dissatisfaction.

And upon hearing that Teacher Tang had been observing them in secret all along, allowing them to be beaten, Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, Tang San, Xiao Wu, and the others looked at him with a strange gaze.

"What? Are you resenting me for not acting just now?" Yun Chuan raised an eyebrow, looking at the three bruised and swollen individuals, and said, "Do you know why I didn't act just now?"

"Why?" Ma Hongjun, still angry, couldn't help but ask.

"Because you were all too arrogant. Even I thought you deserved a beating. I felt it was necessary to give you a good thrashing so you'd understand the importance of being humble." As Yun Chuan spoke, he extended his hand, and a Blue Silver Grass appeared. With a flick of his wrist, specks of fiery red Fire Star scattered, landing on the frozen individuals on the ground.

"Sizzle!"

Steam rose from their bodies, and their stiff limbs became flexible again. Soon, they all stood up. Although the three of them seemed to have been badly beaten, with the physical resilience of a Spirit Master, these injuries were merely superficial. Those students, wary of Tang San and the others' backgrounds, didn't dare to strike with full force. Therefore, Yun Chuan had no intention of healing these three fellows; he wanted them to bear these external injuries as a lesson!

"But Dean Flender said that a Spirit Master who doesn't dare to cause trouble isn't a good Spirit Master. As the saying goes, 'not daring to cause trouble is mediocrity.' We were just putting the Dean's teachings into practice." Standing up and dusting off the dirt, Ma Hongjun said defiantly.

"Not daring to cause trouble is mediocrity, but looking for trouble is foolishness! You weren't causing trouble; you were looking for a beating!"

Yun Chuan, hearing this, immediately retorted exasperatedly, "Dean Flender's words merely meant for you not to fear combat! When facing strong enemies or difficulties, dare to think and act, and strike when necessary.

These words weren't meant for you to provoke others without reason, or to act recklessly as you just did. How are you any different from those scoundrels who abuse their power because they have some strength?"

Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai were clearly the instigators, yet they still believed they were in the right, treating such behavior as a given and even seeing themselves as righteous. Yun Chuan finally understood at this point: it seemed that Tang San's double standards and his many outrageous actions in later installments were inextricably linked to Shrek's education. Or perhaps the Douluo Continent itself was just such a distorted society?

A stern reprimand successfully silenced Ma Hongjun. Even Dai Mubai was speechless, and Tang San himself fell into deep thought, beginning to reflect on his own actions…

Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Oscar, who were standing nearby, unconsciously nodded upon hearing Yun Chuan's words. In fact, when Ma Hongjun and Dai Mubai provoked Canghui Academy earlier, they already felt something was amiss. However, since they were all part of the same team, it was naturally difficult to say much. Xiao Wu, however, clearly didn't take his words to heart, still looking indignant.

Seeing this, Yun Chuan sighed inwardly: As expected, a Spirit Beast is still a Spirit Beast. No matter how cute its appearance, no matter how much it resembles a human, it cannot change the essence of a Spirit Beast! Moreover, she was spoiled by Tang San, who also had psychological issues.

"All of you, go back and reflect properly!" Using his authority as a teacher, Yun Chuan reprimanded, "And you, Oscar! You are not allowed to use Sausage to heal their injuries. Let these three boys bear these injuries as a lesson!"

Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Ma Hongjun hung their heads, feeling guilty and not daring to argue. With their heads down and Spirits low, they followed Yun Chuan and the others back to the hotel.

The night passed without incident.

Early the next morning, just as dawn was breaking, Yun Chuan began to fulfill his duties as a teacher, kicking open doors to wake everyone up.

For someone like Tang San, it was no big deal; he always woke up early and had already developed good routines. But for others, especially sleepyheads like Oscar, it was a bit painful. As a result, most people were still in a daze during breakfast.

The sun slowly rose from the east, causing the pale fish-belly white to gradually expand, and the sky slowly brightened.

Although Tang San witnessed this scene every day, no matter how many times it repeated, the feeling of light appearing still deeply resonated within him.

The sun's rays dispelled the darkness, signaling that a new day had arrived.

The group left the town and accelerated their pace. They were already very close to the Star Dou Great Forest. As everyone pushed forward, the most excited was naturally Oscar, who was about to obtain his third spirit ring. He was eager to know what kind of enhancement his third spirit ring would bring.

He knew that without his reminding, Teacher Tang would surely lead everyone to hunt at least an ordinary thousand-year Spirit Beast for him.

The Star Dou Great Forest is located directly south of the Heaven Dou Empire. The forest spans across two great Empires, and due to the abundance of Spirit Beasts here, it is also the least clearly defined border between the two nations.

From the map, most of the Star Dou Great Forest's area is within the Star Luo Empire's territory. Of course, the Heaven Dou Empire has never acknowledged this point. As one of the three major wild Spirit Beast habitats, it is naturally the place Spirit Masters most hope to visit, because every time they come here, it means they are about to advance.

No one knows how many years the Star Dou Great Forest has existed on the Douluo Continent, but upon entering the forest, its dense, sky-obscuring foliage is enough to tell people of its ancient existence.

From afar, everyone vaguely felt gusts of fresh air blowing from the front. The scent, carrying the fragrance of plants, was invigorating and indescribably comfortable.

Taking a deep breath of the fresh air, it felt as if all thirty-six thousand pores on their bodies had opened up, a feeling of indescribable refreshment.

Yun Chuan gazed into the distance, his excellent vision allowing him to see a green ocean ahead. The boundless green looked so breathtaking, and the comfortable fresh air emanated from it.

Finally, the group arrived in front of the Star Dou Great Forest. The tall trees were at least over twenty meters high, and this was only the outermost edge. The dense forest had no paths, and the layers of tree shadows obscured the true scene within.

Upon reaching the forest, the air became even more pleasant, as if the temperature had dropped by a few degrees.

The refreshing sensation, mixed with the moist scent of earth, continuously stimulated everyone's sense of smell. Yun Chuan, possessing the Plant Master - Life Goddess Spirit, felt even more like he had returned home, because this was a World belonging to plants. For him, this was his territory!

No one could kill him in the forest!
