Being tired of waiting around for the two moose to make the first move, I charged the wounded one.
'If I want a chance, I need to focus on isolating them and finishing off the weaker one, but how?' I thought.
The wounded moose started to charge at me. I leaped into the air and used its head to jump off with my hand. As I thought I was in the clear, I see the other beast coming from the side.
Knowing I could not dodge mid-air, I braced for impact. As I rolled in the snow, I tried to get back on my two feet. Once I do, they don't give me a chance to gather my thoughts. The other beast hits me from the side, causing me to fly across campus and leaving a cut to my abdomen.
'I need to do something.' I thought, trying to get up.
I thought back to the sanctuary and anything Fey told me, but nothing helped. Before I could think of anything, I took another head-on attack from the wounded moose. I tried to block it, but it sent me back a few feet, sliding instead of flying. My eyes staggered around trying to keep track of both of them, but I found it hard to counter them. Before I knew it, I lost track of one of them. Just then, out of my peripheral vision, I see it. Before it could land an attack, I deflect one of its antlers with my knife, but in the process, it broke my guard, sending my arm flying just as the other beast came in, leaving me completely defenseless.
'Shit.'
Feeling the antler make its way into my shoulder blade, I grimaced. Rolling in the snow a bit more, I came to a stop. The blood stained the snow I rolled. The chances of getting out of this were dropping rapidly by the moment. Clenching the ground, I got up once more.
The two beasts continued to stare at me. 'They're toying with me.' I clenched my jaw at the thought of this.
As the left shoulder dripped with blood, I got in a defensive stance, bringing the dagger to my face. Blood covered my vision, but that didn't stop me. They were getting ready to launch another barrage of attacks.
"Bring it!" I screamed.
Before I got the chance to make a move, I saw Ael in front of me and Amiel behind me. Ael released a powerful blow on the injured moose as blood exploded in different directions, while Amiel took on the full force of the other moose.

Pov: Ael
Left in the cafeteria, I see the others around me. Forming the pact, I got up from the floor. My body felt different, lighter than before.
Holding out my hand, I try to imagine a weapon in my hand. When I did, blood spilled from my veins, and a dagger made of my blood was formed.
"These miracles are something." I chuckled. As I did, I looked around to find Eirian, but I didn't see him.
"Eirian?" I questioned. "Eirian?" I said once more out loud. I got no reply.
Just then, the others around me woke up from their prayers.
"What's with this noise?" Eira asked.
"You guys are done?" I asked.
Amiel stretched as he got up from the floor, "Yeah."
"That felt weird," Eira said, trying to get up from the floor just to stumble.
I laughed, "Yeah, huh?"
"Where's Eirian?" Amiel asked.
"He's not here?" Eira said as she turned her head rapidly, looking for him.
"Doubt he would have gone far," Amiel let out.
"Do you know Eirian?" I asked. Eira chuckled.
Before we realized it, a loud crash came from outside.
Everyone stayed quiet.
"You don't think," Amiel asked.
"Eirian," I said, running outside.
"Wait for us," Amiel said, chasing me as Eira followed.
Upon opening the doors, we see him standing between two moose, injured as the moon shone on them.
"There are two?" Amiel stopped behind me.
"And he is fighting both of them?" Eira asked.
I tsked, "Seems like something stupid he would do." Before I knew it, they charged at him.
'Shit,' I thought, "Amiel."
"On it."
I started to run towards the moose before they noticed me. Reforming the same dagger with my blood using my blood manipulation, I started to move quicker than ever before. I could sense Amiel making his way to the other moose as Eira stayed behind.
Leaping into the air, I brought down my fist on one of the moose heads. As I did, the blood dispersed, causing it to be pushed back completely, half its face missing, only to reveal its skull.
Landing next to Eirian, I formed another dagger in my hand. I turned to look at Eirian over my shoulder, "Thank you for holding them off." I smiled. "But don't ever do something that stupid again."
He doesn't say anything.
Amiel taking on the full force of the moose, frost formed on his forearms. After a moment of being head-to-head with the beast, he redirected it.
"Are you okay?" He asked Eirian.
Eirian slightly smiled, "Now I am."
"Guys!" I heard Eira from behind, "What do I do?"
I stared at her, "Any ideas?" I asked Amiel.
"Just give support from afar!" He yelled out to her. When he did, he turned back to me.
"Okay!" She yelled back.
"Eirian, fall back for a bit, get some rest."
"No, I can fight." I looked back at him and saw his eyes filled with determination. He was injured, but because of the adrenaline, he didn't feel the full extent of it.
I sighed, "There's no use in my convincing you, is there? Fine, but make sure you don't die. It would be a shame, as we are about to get out of here."
