Chapter 140 - Doraemon, you've finally figured it out!

"Daxiong, you've finally come around!"

"Shizuka, here's some water. Drink some first!"

At this moment, Daxiong brought a glass of water for Shizuka from the Relaxation Area.

There was no other choice. Since Daxiong had come over, this topic could only be temporarily halted.

"Thank you, Daxiong."

So, Shizuka could only give Lin Feng a shy glare before accepting the water glass from Daxiong.

"It's nothing, it's nothing. It's no big deal, Shizuka, you don't have to be so polite..."

After being thanked by Shizuka, Daxiong's face flushed slightly with embarrassment. He scratched the back of his head with his right hand and said with a smile to Shizuka.

Being able to do something for Shizuka and gain her gratitude made Daxiong very happy.

After this little incident, the three of them quietly started working on their Homework.

Fifth Grade work was incredibly easy for Lin Feng.

It wasn't difficult for Shizuka either.

But for Daxiong, it was genuinely a struggle.

Even though he asked Shizuka for help with several problems he couldn't solve, Daxiong still looked puzzled and scratched his head after Shizuka explained them to him.

He really looked like he was struggling.

However, Shizuka could only help so much. She couldn't just give Daxiong the answers for him to copy.

That would completely defeat the purpose of doing Homework.

Lin Feng was also somewhat helpless about this. Based on his observations, Daxiong seemed to have a natural aversion to studying.

Whether it was reading or doing exercises, he might start with some enthusiasm.

But the further he went, the more negative his attitude became. He was the type who could fall asleep even while sitting.

Perhaps he really was the type who wasn't naturally suited for studying.

Just as Lin Feng and Shizuka finished their Homework and went to the Bookshelf to find some related extracurricular books to read...

Daxiong, sitting there racking his brains and almost biting his pencil to pieces, was staring at the two Homework books on the table in front of him. A bold idea slowly emerged in his mind.

He first put down his pencil, then looked around, glancing cautiously.

When he saw that no one was paying attention, Daxiong, biting his tongue, secretly took Shizuka's Homework book.

As for why he didn't take Lin Feng's homework, perhaps it was because Shizuka was more appealing to Daxiong.

"Wow! As expected of Shizuka, her handwriting is so neat and careful, it's amazing!"

"Now I can finally finish my homework early, hehehe...!"

When a person is about to completely descend into darkness, no homework book is innocent.

After getting Shizuka's homework, a devilish smile flashed across Daxiong's face.

Time was of the essence.

Before Shizuka and Lin Feng returned, Daxiong immediately began his copying spree.

If the top student's happiness lies in constantly solving new problems and enjoying the thrill of overcoming them...

So, the joy of an Underachiever lies in the pleasure of having answers to copy directly, without even needing to use their brain.

Currently, Daxiong was enjoying the second type of Underachiever's joy.

This feeling of writing perfect answers on his Homework without thinking was simply too wonderful.

It was many times faster than his previous progress of racking his brain and not being able to write for a long time.

The feeling of burying his head in copying Homework was really awesome!

However, although copying Homework was fun for a while, and even more fun all the time,

Daxiong seemed to have forgotten that Shizuka and Lin Feng were only going to the Bookshelf to find the books they wanted to read, not to disappear forever.

So, when Shizuka and Lin Feng returned to the Reading Room, each holding several books...

Just then, Shizuka saw Daxiong, head down, diligently copying his Homework.

However, because she was quite a distance away, Shizuka didn't realize at first that Daxiong was copying answers.

She only saw that after they'd left their seats, Daxiong was now seriously engrossed in writing his Homework.

Shizuka was deeply gratified by this sight.

Daxiong had finally come to his senses!

As Childhood Friends who had grown up with Daxiong, Shizuka actually cared a lot about him, especially his studies.

Seeing Daxiong working so hard on his Homework now, it wasn't in vain that Shizuka had just explained the problems to him so carefully and thoroughly.

However, her thoughts differed somewhat from Shizuka's.

Lin Feng immediately saw that things weren't as simple as they seemed.

Someone genuinely thinking about how to solve a problem wouldn't be constantly looking around.

The way Daxiong was now, writing a bit, stopping, and looking around.

No need to guess. He was probably copying answers.

Why was Lin Feng so familiar with Daxiong's little tricks?

Because he'd done it himself before.

And not just once...

In Lin Feng's opinion, copying homework wasn't a huge deal. A little here and there was fine.

But most teachers and parents wouldn't allow this kind of behavior.

After all, the purpose of Homework is to help students strengthen their memory and consolidate the knowledge learned in class.

If they all relied on copying answers to get by, wouldn't doing Homework become completely meaningless?

However, on second thought...

Wait a minute!

For a guy like Daxiong, who consistently scores zero on exams, doing Homework really seems meaningless...?

Because whether it's Homework he writes himself or Homework he copies answers for, it ultimately doesn't improve his grades. He still gets zero on exams.

In that case...

Why torture himself and put on a mask of suffering to battle his hated Homework?

Thinking this through, Lin Feng couldn't help but ponder.

Daxiong's copying of the Homework, seemed to be without flaw?

Ahem, back to the point, the above is all nonsense, just take it with a grain of salt...

As a student receiving compulsory education, blatantly copying Homework is definitely not acceptable.

Lin Feng believed that with Shizuka's serious and rigorous approach to studying, she certainly wouldn't let Daxiong complete his assignments by copying answers.

.So, a good show was likely about to unfold.

Lin Feng only needed to bring a small stool, prepare some peanuts, melon seeds, popcorn, and drinks, and then just watch from the side.
