Catwoman braked suddenly without warning, and Connors, who was sitting behind her, was driven forward by inertia.

"Oof…" Selina grunted as he was pushed against her. She suddenly felt a little distracted. Fortunately, she hadn't forgotten the reason for stopping.

"Can you ride a motorcycle? You get in front," she said to Connors, who didn't know what was going on yet.

Connors also didn't refuse, nodding in agreement. "No problem."

Sitting in front, the soft body behind him immediately pressed against his back. Fortunately, his physical fitness had greatly improved now. At the same time, Connors also understood why "Catwoman" Selina Kyle was switching places with him: it's just so crowded to sit in front!

The seating space was too small, and the two of them were huddled together. Coupled with the poor road conditions and the constant collision all the way, Selina had been extremely uncomfortable. But after changing positions, it was Connors's turn to feel uncomfortable.

Some heroes could carry mountains on their shoulders and rush on without changing their expression, he thought, trying to divert his attention. I'm just carrying two…

Although the Melon-eating System had given him no rewards such as driving skills so far, due to the extreme reaction speed of the human body, even when Connors twisted the accelerator of the motorcycle to the bottom, the ride was much more stable than when "Catwoman" Selina was driving. The speed was incomparable, and the original distance of nearly an hour was shortened to forty minutes.

Wayne Manor looked majestic and mysterious in the night. A short distance from the manor, the motorcycle was hidden. The two of them approached quickly, one behind the other, until they came under the walls of the castle.

Selina drew a map folded into a roll from the outside of her thigh, marked a room on it, and said to Connors, "This is a map of the manor I got from a plumber. The target this time is this room, which stores a painting Bruce Wayne auctioned off last month."

"I've been here once before. The painting in that room was put in a separate glass case, and it will trigger an alarm once it's opened."

"I'm responsible for the theft; you're responsible for transferring the painting. When the glass cabinet is opened, you pick it up from the ventilation duct. After that, you don't have to worry about me. Just wait for me on the roof of Joseph's jewelry store."

"I'm sure to escape," she said with confidence.

"Catwoman" acted first. She took a hook gun from her waist, aimed it above, and launched it silently. Then, she jumped up like a wild cat. As she stood on the castle wall ready to drop the rope for Connors to come up, she saw him easily open the castle's gates and stroll in.

"…" Selina was confused for a moment. How could this person open the door so easily? It was like he was going back to his own house. Could it be that the door is broken and the alarm system is failing? Selina's thoughts took a turn, but instead of following Connors through the door, she quickly moved across the roof, approaching the room where the painting was placed.

"See me coming in? I thought I could hide it from you." Connors picked up a phone on the wall after entering the door, listening to Bruce Wayne's voice inside and laughing.

"…If you were willing, I think you could have snuck into this manor easily," Bruce Wayne said on the other end of the phone.

"I'm not that awesome," Connors said humbly. He couldn't become truly invisible, and his little tricks had no room to play in the face of the ubiquitous cameras in the estate.

"I have asked Alfred to pick you up. Please come to the Batcave," Bruce Wayne said, his voice deep and hoarse, as if he were speaking as Batman at this point.

Alfred the butler arrived faster than Connors thought. A few minutes after the call hung up, the fair-haired but mentally fit butler had already opened a door in one direction of the estate. "Master Patterson, please. Master Wayne originally planned to treat you yesterday, but the people on Arkham's side said you ran there to sleep."

The old housekeeper's first words were still teasing. Connors didn't mind. He followed the other man to a study and then took the hidden elevator down to the Batcave. Bruce Wayne, still wearing his exoskeleton brace, faced several huge screens. On one screen was a surveillance picture of "Catwoman" Selina trying to open the ventilation duct in the room with the painting.

"Did you come with her? Was your goal just for this painting?" Bruce Wayne asked, pointing to the surveillance footage.

"Right," Connors freely admitted. "Strictly speaking, I followed her for the fun of it."

"What's so good about this? If you want it, the painting will be given to you." Bruce Wayne was worthy of being a rich man, willing to give away a painting that was auctioned last month for more than three million dollars.

"…," Connors, who had never seen three million US dollars in his two lives combined, was silent for a moment. "Can it be discounted?"

"?" Bruce Wayne was, for a moment, a little unable to keep up with Connors's brain circuits.

Connors had just said it casually. He walked up to the master and looked at the monitor. "If you continue to chat with me here, she will steal your painting soon."

Bruce Wayne said, not caring, "It's all right. From the moment she entered Wayne Manor, based on her course of action, I knew it was a map obtained from the plumber who came here to work on it."

"That map was leaked on purpose. Everything in this room was placed to send the thieves away."

This is the master, the eternal brain of the Justice League, Connors admired from the bottom of his heart, but verbally he said, "After the thief has tasted the sweetness once, what will you do next time?"

Before he could say anything more, he saw that "Catwoman" Selina, who was under surveillance, had managed to enter the room. The alarm went off, especially after "Catwoman" smashed the glass case and took out the painting inside. Immediately, numerous black-hole muzzles stuck out of the walls on all sides.

"This will teach them a profound lesson," Bruce Wayne said in a low voice.

"It's really profound. But according to the plan, I have to go over and pick her up. What do you think?" Connors asked the owner of Wayne Manor in front of him how to proceed with his plan to steal his family's treasure.

This scene was a bit abstract, and Batman almost couldn't maintain his deliberately lowered voice. He returned to a more magnetic, natural voice. After coughing twice, he turned around. Just pretend you didn't see it.

Connors understood. He took the elevator out of the Batcave and approached the room where "Catwoman" Selina was.

Pointed at by countless gun muzzles, Selina held the frame motionless, for fear that the guns would fire immediately. But in this environment, it would be false to say she wasn't nervous. At this time, the soft hair on her temples was soaked in sweat, and she couldn't help but feel her mouth go dry.

You have to drink water if you have a dry mouth. Connors walked into the room with a cup of Alfred's hand-ground coffee and stuffed it into Catwoman's hand.

"Catwoman" Selina took the coffee bluntly, still afraid to move. Then she watched Connors make a move that she couldn't understand. One by one, he pressed the outstretched guns back into the wall.

"Go quickly. Bruce Wayne said no dinner today," Connors said, pressing all the guns back into the wall, speaking to a confused Selina.

Watching as "Catwoman"'s brain seemed to be down, he simply stepped forward, reached out, and bent over. Dragging her feet in one hand and holding her butt in the other, he just threw Selina into the ventilation duct. Her two little feet combined were about the size of Connors's hand, and they were extremely tender. But his other hand holding "Catwoman's" butt sank directly into it, as if it had no bones and was unusually soft.
