Chapter 53 - Nanook: I'm usually the one dominating others. Today, retribution has come.

"Bro, wait. Are you saying..."

Boothill looked at Leon, who had returned safely, still struggling to process such shocking information.

He had witnessed that earth-shattering battle just now and still found it hard to believe his own eyes.

Who in the entire universe doesn't know about the Lord Ravagers?

What kind of country bumpkin wouldn't know?

When he saw Leon obliterate a Lord Ravager with the power of a single arrow, adding a new chapter to the legends of the Rangers...

He knew that their Galaxy Rangers were about to take off!

Kicking the Antimatter Legion, punching the IPC—the Xianzhou Alliance would be nothing in comparison!

Becoming a force that suppresses the entire universe in one fell swoop, you get me?

Let's go, full speed ahead!

"You're a goddamn Emanator?!"

Boothill exclaimed in utter shock, but he was also incredibly excited.

It hasn't been easy, not at all. Their Galaxy Rangers have been fighting alone for so many Amber Eras, and now they finally have a powerhouse to latch onto!

The grace of the Aeon Lan is truly endless ✋😭🤚!

"If I'm not an Emanator, are you?"

Leon had an expression that said, "What, you got a problem with that?"

"Did you just become one?"

Boothill laughed awkwardly, not daring to agree with that statement.

No kidding. If he could take down Phantylia, he would have gone to war with the IPC long ago. Would he even be here?

"I've always been an Emanator."

"What?!"

Bro, this flex came out of nowhere. Plus, the Aeon of The Hunt just shot an arrow of light moments ago.

It was hard for Boothill not to suspect that he had just been appointed as an Emanator.

And now you're telling him you've always been an Emanator, just acting low-key because you wanted to live like a normal person?!

You really hid it well!

"Whose?" Boothill asked instinctively.

If he's always been an Emanator, is he a Heavenly General or a Ranger?

Could it be that the Galaxy Rangers rose to power long ago?

No wonder he was always talking about going to war with the Garden of Recollection. Turns out he really had the qualifications!

"Lan's," Leon replied.

"I'm asking if you're with the Xianzhou Alliance or the Galaxy Rangers."

Boothill definitely knew he was of The Hunt; no other Path would have a reason to help him.

He was obviously asking about which faction, seeing as the Galaxy Rangers had never produced an Emanator before.

And now that someone was about to fill that vacancy, how could he not be excited?

"Is there a difference? Is the faction that important?"

"I am an Emanator of The Hunt. Naturally, I am loyal only to Lan himself."

Leon couldn't tell him anything, or his status as a double agent would be exposed.

"Loyal!"

"Loyalty!"

Upon hearing those two words, the small flame floating beside him like a will-o'-the-wisp seemed to have a special keyword triggered, immediately shouting it back.

Boothill had been about to ask something else, but his attention was immediately snatched away.

"Uh, is that really the Phantylia from before?"

Boothill pointed at the teal flame hovering around him and asked doubtfully.

How did she shrink so much? She went from a colossal figure to this strange creature.

"Is that the Lord Ravager, the Emanator of Destruction?"

He stared for a long time at the will-o'-the-wisp, which had an appearance similar to a rabbit, and suddenly found it hard to keep a straight face.

"What's your cup size?"

Seeing him look over, the will-o'-the-wisp opened its mouth with a greeting.

"?"

Boothill's mouth twitched. He had a feeling this Lord Ravager's entire vibe had changed.

"Who else?"

Leon didn't understand how he could even ask that question.

"Didn't you witness her demise with your own eyes? And you're still asking."

"I thought after you beat her, you'd capture her and send her back to the Xianzhou Alliance."

Boothill said, glancing at the will-o'-the-wisp again. "Didn't expect you to keep her for your own private use."

"What's your DPS? What's your purpose for dropping here?"

Another round of intense greetings.

Just what have you trained her to be!

Boothill complained silently in his heart.

"Bro, hold on. Is this really okay?"

Finally, Boothill couldn't help but ask.

Damn it, more than his identity as an Emanator, he was now more concerned with how the hell Leon had managed to transform a Lord Ravager into this state.

"What's wrong with it?"

Hearing this, Leon glanced over at Phantylia.

He thought it was perfectly normal. Was there a problem with this form?

A very fine foolish rabbit head, it makes his cup-levels spin.

"How on earth did you create this thing that looks like a rabbit?!"

The decibel level of Boothill's voice involuntarily rose quite a bit.

"It just happened naturally."

"Don't ask. All I can say is, you'll understand sooner or later."

In truth, Leon didn't understand it himself either.

He had only used the power of The Hunt to completely cleanse the brand of Destruction, and somehow, Phantylia's true form ended up looking like this.

How was he supposed to know what happened?

But even if he didn't understand, it didn't stop him from acting like an expert by staying silent.

Don't ask. If you ask, the answer is you'll understand sooner or later.

"Damn it, did you feed her something you shouldn't have?" Boothill said uncertainly.

"What, you want some too?"

Hearing this, the aura of The Hunt that Leon had been suppressing surged forth again, scaring the nearby Phantylia into trembling.

Lord Nanook, I... I can't go back now 😭

"Can't do anything about you, you little glutton."

With that said, Leon stepped forward, ready to satisfy his curiosity.

"NO! NO! NO!"

Boothill hastily stopped him.

Even as a cyborg, taking a hit like that would probably overload his core processor.

He had to keep this wretched life of his until he could kill Osvaldo and "Iron Tomb."

"What I mean is, maybe you..."

Boothill paused. He felt that this way of putting it didn't sound very good.

"Uh, in the process of taming her, some of your emotions were probably transmitted to her as well, leading to this change in her form."

Boothill chose a more neutral term.

"Emotions?" Leon was confused.

"If I remember correctly, this damn Phantylia is a Heliobus, right?"

As someone who regularly robbed the IPC, Boothill knew not to underestimate the IPC's intelligence network!

"Yeah. Weren't you looking for a Heliobus?"

Leon nodded. "If she weren't a Heliobus, I wouldn't have left her body intact."

"That explains it."

Boothill felt his guess was pretty much on the mark. "Heliobi feed on emotions, and they are also influenced by them."

"Perhaps when you were transforming her, your emotions were transmitted along with your power, which is what caused this bizarre appearance."

As Boothill spoke, he carefully glanced at the rabbit-flame out of the corner of his eye.

"Medium cups, stop here!"

Boothill had no comment.

It's just that, from a normal man's perspective, this rabbit-head art was a bit too avant-garde.

"So it's because of me?"

Leon stroked his chin, his gaze shifting back to the rabbit-flame.

It really did seem to be his fault.

To be fair, it seemed like he was indeed the only one in the entire universe who could create something like this.

All that can be said is:

Oops, my pursuit of the Path was too strong, and I accidentally overdid it
