Chapter 221 - Chapter 221: New Aerospace Technology

The Abyss Order lives deep underground, and the non-human entities within it constantly desire to return to the surface, or even ascend to the Sky.

Now, this wish of The Order is finally about to be realized by an unknown Abyss Mage.

As for why? That's because he met a kind person!

"Liftoff!" Yu Jin shouted, then grabbed the Abyss Mage's rabbit ears. He swung hard, and the Abyss Mage shot into the Sky like a cannonball.

However, this couldn't reach what The Order called the "Sky." So, Yu Jin decided to put in more effort!

"Try my newly developed flying method!" Yu Jin said, then threw the giant fireball he held in his other hand.

"Boom!" The giant fireball touched the Abyss Mage tumbling in the air, immediately causing a violent explosion.

The entire Sky was dyed crimson by the flames, and countless sparks shot out from the explosion.

They fell from the Sky like heavy rain. If they hadn't extinguished and vanished before touching the ground, this entire land would have been reduced to scorched earth.

Compressed air, carrying waves of fire, rolled and intertwined, forming a massive, visible shockwave that expanded in all directions.

But both the flames and the shockwave dissipated like the scattered sparks before touching the ground.

The power of the giant fireball didn't disappear; it simply transformed into the Abyss Mage's propulsion, helping it fly to a higher Sky... "Boom!"

"What's going on?" Venti put down the brand new wooden table he was holding, jumped onto it in a hurry, and looked into the distance.

He saw a giant fireball Bloom high above outside Mondstadt, and the deafening roar hadn't stopped even now.

But strangely, the shockwaves of the explosion didn't spread outwards like other explosions. Instead, they solidified into a pillar of air, adding a distorted thin line to the clear Sky.

"Yu Jin!" Venti's fists cracked as he clenched them. Venti was a hundred percent sure that this peculiar phenomenon was caused by Yu Jin again.

"Haha, isn't that quite spectacular?" Kaeya looked at the pillar of air reaching straight into the Sky in the distance, marveling.

He wondered how high that pillar of air was. If something were inside, it would probably be carried to heights no one had ever reached before by the airflow.

"Wow! That's what Senior did!" Bennett exclaimed excitedly, looking at the magnificent sight in the distance.

"Boy of misfortune, do not let things clinging to sand and dirt touch this Princess!"

"Bennett, don't flail around, the cement on the trowel is splashing out!"

Fischl, with her Dragon-Hunting Bow slung over her back, moved away from the flailing Bennett along with Ellin.

"Ah? Sorry, I got excited and forgot." Bennett looked at the splashed spots and scratched his head, embarrassed.

"Alright, stop looking. Mr. Yu Jin is very sensible in his actions; there shouldn't be any mistakes. Let's hurry and fix Mr. Yu Jin's house."

"If he comes back from his commission and we haven't fixed it yet, it won't be a surprise."

Katheryne just glanced at it and then paid no more attention. Although Yu Jin was usually unreliable, his outrageous actions had never harmed any innocent person.

The not-innocent ones were another matter.

Everyone nodded in agreement after hearing Katheryne's words. They had all spent time with Yu Jin; while the process with him might be full of twists and turns, the result was always satisfying.

"Indeed, everyone, hurry up and lay those bricks!" Venti stopped paying attention after hearing this. He jumped off the table and said to the people in front of him.

"Then what are you doing here?" Diluc raised an eyebrow and said. Sure enough, he still found it hard to associate the guy in front of him with the Anemo God, a symbol of freedom, from the poems.

"I don't see Master Diluc doing anything either?" Venti spread his hands, looking at Diluc.

Upon hearing this, Diluc's lips curled into a rare, faint smile. He crossed his arms and said indifferently, "All these things were bought with my Mora."

That light sentence dealt a severe blow to Venti.

"Alright... alright, I'll go move bricks now." Venti's aura suddenly weakened. He walked disconsolately to where the bricks were stacked not far away, and began laying bricks with the enthusiastic Bennett.

Having Mora is good.

Ellin was carving wood, Fischl and Oz were marking lines, Katheryne was directing, and Kaeya, Venti, and Bennett were moving bricks and building walls.

As for Diluc? He was watching to see if Venti was slacking off.

With everyone's efforts, a brand new house was rising at a visible speed on what was once 34 Windmill Street, now a ruin... "I will definitely return..."

"Ding!"

Yu Jin looked at the "cross" flash that suddenly appeared in the distant Sky and nodded with satisfaction.

It seems this experiment was very successful. When should he go to The Abyss Order headquarters and launch them into the Sky one by one!

This way, The Abyss Order's goal of ascending to the Sky would be achieved, and they would probably be quieter then.

But did that Abyss Mage just say something?

Yu Jin stroked his chin, then nodded. He must have been thanking him! After all, this was a new aerospace technology he had thought about for a long time, and the first test was a great success!

"So amazing! What was in Big Brother Yu Jin's hand just now? Klee wants to learn!" Klee's eyes lit up as soon as the flames in the Sky disappeared, and she immediately came to Yu Jin's side.

She had found something even more powerful than her Jumpty Dumpty.

"Want to learn?" Yu Jin scratched the back of his head. He looked at the excitedly jumping Klee in front of him and pulled out a "brick."

"Little Klee, don't say your Big Brother Yu Jin isn't teaching you. How many of the words on this do you recognize?"

Yu Jin handed the heavy giant Prayer book in his hand to Klee. Given Klee's age, she probably didn't recognize all the words.

Learning Prayer would be a bit difficult.

But Klee didn't care about any of that. She picked up the fiery red giant Flame Prayer book and eagerly flipped through it.

Lumine and Paimon on the side also curiously poked their heads over.

Then three pairs of spiral eyes appeared in front of Yu Jin.

"This... what is all this? I don't understand it at all."

"Klee... Klee sees so many little ducks..."

"Uh..., Sword is still more suitable for me."

The three, dazed by the knowledge, reacted differently. But Klee quickly recovered. She closed the giant Prayer book, returned it to Yu Jin, and said with great determination:

"Klee won't give up! Klee wants to study from now on! When Klee recognizes all the words, Big Brother Yu Jin can teach me again!"

"Good, good, good!" Yu Jin immediately clapped his hands. What an ambitious child! He would definitely teach her more then.

Things like 'Womb Residue,' 'Evil God's Flame,' 'Boiling Chaos,' Klee could learn whichever she wanted.

"Paimon, hurry up and learn from Klee. You should also learn some self-defense." Lumine said to the unresponsive Paimon, seeing Klee's motivated appearance.

"No—, I have you, don't I! Hehe!" Paimon refused decisively. She didn't want to learn.

Ever since she followed Lumine, Paimon didn't know how she had survived before without Lumine.

"Sigh~" Lumine covered her face. Paimon indeed didn't disappoint her.

But this was Paimon.

"Alright, since the treasure hunt is over, I should also do my own thing. See you!"

Yu Jin checked the time and felt that it was almost time for the wolf packs to appear. He had to go learn wolf howls.

His record of 100% completion could not be broken by this peculiar commission!

"See you!" x 3

Lumine and the others waved somewhat stiffly, watching Yu Jin's figure disappear instantly.

He ran so fast.
