"Yu Jin!" Distant thunder surged, and Yelan only now realized that the distant wilderness had become a wasteland.
The once lush green grass had turned brownish-grey, and the trees had only two or three dead leaves drooping from them.
The area was now dead silent, life having vanished under the black mist. Even so, the leaping lightning continued to destroy all traces of life.
After this, a large area of Tianqiu Valley would likely remain barren for several years.
"Fatui!!!" Yelan gritted her teeth inwardly, though her expression betrayed nothing.
Just as Yelan was pondering how to vent her anger on Childe, a pale breath of ice assailed him from afar, coating the unsuspecting Childe with layers of frost.
"Geovishap?!" Yelan looked at the Geovishap emerging from the earth with both shock and delight.
She had originally thought this giant creature had perished under the corrosion of the black mist and the thunder storm.
But now, it seemed to be in excellent condition!
"Roar!" The Geovishap roared in response to Yelan, then joined the ranks ganging up on Childe.
The thunder storm continued to rage, seeming as though it would take a long time to completely dissipate from this land.
But just then, a figure descended from the purple thunder storm onto the ground.
"Heh heh, but..." Yu Jin thrust the Serpent Spine he held into the ground. The lightning on the spearhead instantly Swirled, the gold devouring the purple, then dissipating once more into the heavens and earth.
Yu Jin pulled up the great spear, swung it forcefully, and said to the distant Dottore, "Congratulations, it's now Phase Two of Phase Two!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Jin instantly closed in on Dottore. He raised the spearhead, stabbing towards Dottore with immense power.
Yu Jin's speed was so great that Dottore could only barely conjure a thin elemental armor of electro to defend against the blow.
The massive spearhead pierced through the elemental armor as if it were paper, impaling Dottore's entire body.
"Pfft!" Gushing blood splattered on Yu Jin's armor, making him look even more ferocious.
Yu Jin showed no mercy; he twisted the Serpent Spine. What was originally just a 貫穿傷 on Dottore's body now became a gaping hole.
"Clatter!" Yu Jin casually swung, and Dottore's body tumbled far away like a broken sack.
"Hmph..., cough cough..." Dottore trembled as he struggled to get up from the ground. With each breath, his mouth filled with bloody foam and his own shredded flesh.
Even after suffering such horrific injuries, Dottore was still not dead. The empty flesh in his chest still writhed, attempting to heal such a large wound.
"Monster..., haha..." Dottore looked at Yu Jin, whose body was covered in charred marks, and laughed intermittently.
He hadn't expected that merely coming out to secure funding would lead him to such a terrifying and mysterious individual.
This made him incredibly excited. If he could thoroughly research Yu Jin, the chances of his grand project of creating a god would undoubtedly increase significantly.
"The dead shouldn't speak." Yu Jin's voice suddenly appeared behind Dottore. He swung his spear, striking towards Dottore's right side.
But what Yu Jin hadn't expected was that his strike missed—Dottore had actively detached his own right arm.
"Bang!" Another burst of lightning permeated the air. Dottore directly sacrificed his right arm to unleash an even more violent elemental force.
Yu Jin waved his hand and stepped out of the charred crater. He looked at Dottore, who was clutching his right side in the distance, and smiled, saying, "You really have a lot of tricks."
"But I'm getting a little annoyed." However, he quickly changed his tone, which became unfriendly. His intuition told Yu Jin that this guy still had many tricks up his sleeve.
"You are a serpent." Yu Jin suddenly uttered a nonsensical sentence. After this, Dottore suddenly felt a qualitative change occur within him, from the inside out.
The Serpent Spine only reveals its true power when hunting great serpents.
"Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!" Piercing gusts of wind intertwined, drowning out everything else. Yu Jin lowered his center of gravity, leaning back with the Serpent Spine in hand.
Hunting Great Serpent—a combat skill that allows for a full-power thrust, and when activated again, an upward thrust. Against a great serpent, it generates a long, luminous blade, revealing its true power.
With each degree Yu Jin leaned back, the dozens of meters long, solid, pale wind blade on the Serpent Spine grew thicker.

"Boom!" The luminous blade began to extend forward, the accumulated power violently unleashed.
The storm tore apart everything in its path. Countless rocks and earth were swept up by it, then scattered to the ground. The Sky now grew somewhat gloomy due to the debris it had blown away.
Dottore wanted to escape the range of the luminous blade's attack, but the state of his body could not support his intention.
The storm passed through Dottore's body without any hindrance. Then, in this space, one person was gone, replaced by a faint red and a bloody scent.
The storm dissipated, the piercing roar of the wind vanished, and the world fell silent again. Only the distant land, plowed into a gully, and the faint smell of blood in the air, told of what had transpired.
"A terrifying fellow." Yelan silently sighed, then snapped back to attention. Childe was still eyeing her like a tiger nearby; she couldn't be careless.
"A powerful enemy, this is the opponent I've been looking for!" Childe's originally cool gray suit had long been stained purplish-black by the immense electro element power unleashed by his Delusion.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his heart uncontrollably excited. The boring skirmish was finally over; now he was going to get serious!
Previously, Childe had been chased and beaten by Yelan and the monsters beside her because he still had hidden power yet to be unlocked.
But now, Childe looked at Yu Jin, who was running towards him with the great spear in the distance, and he had already made up his mind.
That guy named Yu Jin in the distance was worth him abandoning his sanity and using his Foul Legacy Transformation!
Only then could he fully enjoy the thrill of battle and hone his martial arts!
"Childe, retreat!" Regrator and Marionette, one controlling a puppet and the other controlling Katheryne, arrived on the battlefield.
Their true bodies were far from Liyue; in their current state, they couldn't even defeat a Mitachurl.
However, Regrator looked at the "Katheryne" beside him, they still had something to discuss.

Regrator's words made Childe calm down. He was right; his one-on-one battle was just wishful thinking. Judging from his recent experience, these guys would probably engage in what they called "righteous ganging up."
Childe looked at the Geovishap and Pyro Regisvine behind Yelan and Yu Jin, as well as the group of Hilichurls.
If they continued to cooperate as closely as before, even if he used his Foul Legacy Transformation, he would likely meet his demise on the spot.
