Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: The Dark Sea

"Holy crap!" Even Yu Jin couldn't help but lose his composure at the sight before him.

Because the scene at this moment could truly be called Doomsday.

On land, there are rolling mountains and low-lying basins. The Dark Sea also has them, but these "mountain ranges" and "basins" are all formed by waves.

The evolution of landforms on the surface of Teyvat takes millions of years of vast changes, but in the Dark Sea, it only takes a brief moment.

Giant waves, as majestic as mountain ranges, surged from the horizon, then crashed down with a roar, creating countless "splashes" large enough to engulf cities.

And this was just a corner of what Yu Jin saw; countless roars from unknown sources made the sounds of this world utterly meaningless.

The colossal waves caused the vertical difference in the Dark Sea's surface to reach several thousand meters.

Constantly changing, constantly noisy.

The haze had long since dissipated. The sea and Sky returned to Yu Jin's vision, but this didn't mean the element concentration in the space had decreased.

On the contrary, the true Dark Sea is a realm of elements. It is filled with restless and frenzied element power everywhere.

In the Teyvat mainland, elements permeate the world, flowing in an orderly manner. They bring vitality to Teyvat; the elements are stable and gentle with each other, and reactions simply don't occur.

But in the Dark Sea, none of that exists.

"Boom!" A huge flash of light suddenly appeared in the dim Sky, and Yu Jin looked up.

He saw an enormous fireball, of unknown size, appear in the Sky. The fireball ignited within the thick dark clouds, Burning the Sky crimson.

That was the Burning reaction caused by colliding Pyro element and Electro element flowing in the atmosphere. The Overloaded reaction they triggered illuminated the entire Sky.

Not only that, the entire ocean of the Dark Sea was boiling. Countless Pyro elements in the air continuously heated the entire surface of the Dark Sea, and misty steam rose from the sea.

They reacted with the Geo element to form Crystalize fragments that fell, or reacted with the Cryo element to condense into falling ice, or reacted with the Dendro element to generate Dendro Cores.

However, these Dendro Cores, before they could even fall, reacted again with the Electro element and Pyro element in the air, becoming either erratic or directly exploding seed bombs.

Everything was chaotic and disorderly; despite having no life, the Dark Sea was incredibly lively.

The air would inexplicably ignite, and huge ice crystals or various colored Crystalize bodies would suddenly appear and fall.

The surging waves sometimes carried thunder, and the sound of explosions between the sea and Sky never ceased.

And in this space, green Catalyze Cores would occasionally fly by. If these reactions collided with flowing Anemo elements, their range would further expand.

Yu Jin floated in the air, with endless haze and tranquility behind him. Yu Jin's guess was correct; behind him was the boundary, the boundary between the Teyvat mainland and the Dark Sea.

Just a few minutes after stepping out of the boundary, Yu Jin was hit by dozens of Catalyze Dendro Cores, accompanied by several explosions that occurred near him.

Moreover, if he hadn't dodged quickly, that house-sized ice crystal that fell from who knows where would have smashed onto his head.

No wonder only God-level beings could survive unharmed in the Dark Sea. If an ordinary person entered here, they would immediately be corroded to death by the extremely dense element power in the space.

And Gods, they all have means to control large-scale element flows, which is why they can survive in this element-saturated Dark Sea.

"The Dark Sea is so vast, how do I find Beisht?" Yu Jin scratched his head. He only knew that Beisht was similar to Osial, but she only had three heads.

"King, do you need us?" Black Blade asked when he saw Yu Jin's troubled expression.

"Do any of you individually have God-level strength?" Yu Jin countered.

"God? Similar to those guys in the sea? I do!" San spoke up at this moment.

"Shut up! I didn't ask you!" Yu Jin immediately cut off San's speech. It wasn't ruled out that some Black Blades might have made a leap in strength, reaching God-level. But overall, most Black Blades didn't have such strength.

The Black Blades fell silent. Yu Jin nodded in satisfaction, then said, "Not here, it's too dangerous. Your strength is greatest when you're together."

"Understood." After Black Blade finished speaking, he returned to his usual state.

Looking at the endless sea before him, Yu Jin felt that if he had to search for it himself, it would probably take forever.

So... "Om--" A blue light suddenly appeared in the dim Sky, then this blue light grew larger and larger, spreading into the distance.

Then Yu Jin, bathed in this blue light, slowly flew towards the depths of the sea. He refused to believe that if he turned Osial's orb to maximum power, Beisht wouldn't come.

A huge blue light flickered above Yu Jin's head, and streams of light rotated, like a giant whirlpool. This symbolized Osial's clearance, but now Yu Jin was using it as a signal emitter.

Yu Jin slowly advanced into the depths of the Dark Sea. In fact, he didn't want to fly so slowly, mainly because Osial had told him that Beisht's strength seemed to have only just touched the threshold of a God.

So he was afraid that if he flew too fast, Beisht wouldn't be able to catch up with him.

Moreover, the scene before him was indeed worth him slowing down to appreciate. Because he had seen various colored large cubes floating on the sea more than once.

These things should be the Anemo-series monsters he had read about in books.

However, in the Teyvat mainland, they could only be born where Ley Lines and elements converged, and only one could be born.

But now, Yu Jin looked around and immediately saw many Anemo monsters of various colors.

"It's pitiful not to be able to fly." Yu Jin sighed, looking at the various colored large cubes drifting with the sea below.

However, he didn't go to rescue them, because essentially these guys were like Slimes, possessing only simple instincts.

If he were to pull them out, not only would he get beaten, but their weight alone would be enough to give Yu Jin a hard time.

"Holy crap, what a huge waterspout!" Yu Jin exclaimed after passing through a giant waterspout with a diameter of over ten kilometers.

Then he took a picture with his backhand.

"Holy crap, what a seed rain!" He exclaimed again, looking at the rain of Dendro Cores constantly emerging from the Sky.

Seeing such a scene, of course, the first thing to do is take a picture.

Speaking of which, he seemed to have said "Holy crap" too many times today.

But this wasn't Yu Jin's fault, because everything in the Dark Sea was simply too astonishing to him.

If safety could be guaranteed, Yu Jin believed that a large number of people would definitely come to the Dark Sea to see these miraculous sights.

Just as Yu Jin was admiring this scenery, so different from the Teyvat mainland, a massive, undisguised aura appeared in his perception.

Looking at the three colossal heads, hundreds of meters high, standing tall in the distance, Yu Jin knew that the main event had arrived.

Beisht's form was very different from Osial's, not to mention the difference in the number of their heads. Even just the shape of their heads was very different.

Osial's head and neck were composed of flowing blue light, smooth and bare, looking more like an element creature.

But Beisht's head was not like that; apart from the flowing blue light, her head and neck were more adorned with blue tail feathers.

Not only that, her entire body was more slender compared to Osial, making it clear at a glance that she was a female, oh no, a she-creature.

"Beisht?" Yu Jin suddenly accelerated after seeing Beisht, instantly arriving between her three large heads.

"I... I am." It seemed she hadn't spoken for too long, as Beisht's melodious and agile voice carried a hint of hoarseness.

"Osial's thing, you take it." Yu Jin presented the blue-glowing orb to Beisht.

Beisht looked at the pale blue orb in Yu Jin's hand. She could feel the familiar aura within it.

"He... is he dead?" Beisht was silent for a moment, then asked Yu Jin.

Yu Jin smiled at Beisht's words, then said, "No."

Then he pulled out a white screen, which displayed Osial's current state.

A wordless silence lasted for a long time, then Yu Jin saw Beisht's three heads rapidly turning red.

"Osial!!!"

"Holy crap, what a loud voice!" Yu Jin exclaimed "Holy crap" for the fourth time.

There was nothing left, not a single drop.
