Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 Bubu Pharmacy

There is a Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue. Its owner, Baizhu, possesses profound medical skills and a compassionate heart, which has led to the pharmacy being perpetually crowded.

At this moment, Yu Jin was also squeezed among the crowd. The bustling scene before him could rival the Imperial Duel from back then.

However, despite the throngs of people, Bubu Pharmacy was not chaotic. Firstly, it was a place for healing and saving lives, thus requiring quiet; secondly, Bubu Pharmacy was well-managed, preventing disorder.

Before long, Yu Jin arrived inside Bubu Pharmacy. Looking up, he saw that the Bubu Pharmacy was bustling.

The physicians were busy taking pulses, diagnosing illnesses, recording conditions, and searching for prescriptions; the pharmacists, meanwhile, were busy dispensing medicine, retrieving unknown herbs from the medicine cabinet behind the counter with precise movements.

"What can I do for you, Sir? You're not here for medical treatment, are you?" The receptionist saw Yu Jin in his iron armor and asked.

"Yes, I'm here to deliver medicine," Yu Jin handed the commission slip to the receptionist. This was a new commission he had taken today, to deliver medicine from Bubu Pharmacy to a home on a side peak of Mt. Tianheng.

"Oh! I see. Then please go to Qiqi and tell him about it." The receptionist glanced at the slip and pointed Yu Jin in a direction.

Qiqi is a special child adopted by Bubu Pharmacy's owner, Baizhu, who often forgets things. So, these less critical tasks are given to Qiqi to handle, as a way to train him.

Yu Jin followed the direction indicated by the receptionist, arriving at the counter, but found no one there.

So, Yu Jin propped his hands on the counter and peered over it. Sure enough, he saw a girl—Qiqi was too short and was hidden by the counter.

The girl had light purple hair, wore a winter formal hat, and on his hat, a shimmering Cryo Vision and a fluttering yellow talisman.

A peculiar child.

Yu Jin glanced at Qiqi, and a decision was made in his heart. A child forcibly kept at the boundary of life and death, he wondered what Hu Tao would think if she saw him.

"Hello, Qiqi!" Yu Jin greeted Qiqi, who was busy sorting medicinal herbs behind the counter.

"Hmph... Hello, what do you need Qiqi for? I... I don't seem to know you," Qiqi stopped his work, looked at Yu Jin, and spoke slowly and without emotion.

"This! I'm here to pick up medicine," Yu Jin slapped the commission slip on the counter, not minding Qiqi's tone. Maintaining this special state must have its side effects.

Hearing Yu Jin's words, Qiqi took the commission slip and began flipping through his notebook.

"Hmm..., ah! Found it, medicine delivery... medicine delivery..., here it is!" Qiqi seemed to gain a burst of energy after finding the record in his notebook. He jogged to a cabinet and took out a stack of medicine packets from it.

"Here..., deliver it to Mt. Tianheng," Qiqi looked at the notes and said to Yu Jin.

"Thanks, then goodbye, Qiqi," Yu Jin took the medicine packets and slowly walked out of Bubu Pharmacy.

It seems this Damselette named Qiqi doesn't need his help for now. He'll get in touch with him another time.

Stepping out of Bubu Pharmacy, Yu Jin saw Yujing Terrace in the opposite corner and the Jade Chamber suspended high above Yujing Terrace.

"Tsk..., there are so many rich people," Yu Jin looked at the Jade Chamber and couldn't help but sigh. He heard that such a massive Jade Chamber was funded and built by Ningguang, one of the Seven Stars. The Mora it cost must be beyond everyone's imagination.

However, Yu Jin only sighed for a moment before leaving Liyue Harbor along the main road. Yu Jin admired the Jade Chamber not for its scale, but because it was built by one person. The various difficulties involved, perhaps only the Tianquan himself knew.

Liyue has two major official roads. One starts from Liyue, traverses Guili Plains, crosses Dihua Marsh, and extends directly into Mondstadt territory.

The other passes through Mt. Tianheng, connecting various ancient city ruins within Liyue. The first road is mainly for merchants and travelers; the second road is mostly for Adventurers and similar people.

And Yu Jin, of course, was on the second road.

He advanced along the road, with towering mountains on both sides. This is also a major characteristic of Liyue; steep mountains are everywhere, completely different from Mondstadt's vast open plains.

Yu Jin opened the map and looked at it. Hmm, the destination was to his right. Right? Yu Jin suddenly turned around and looked to his right.

"Where's the road?" The silent peak responded to Yu Jin's question. He looked up, unable to see how high the mountain was.

"I wondered why no one took this! So, I have to climb such a high mountain?" Yu Jin immediately started to complain about Xocoatl.

However, he had no intention of giving up; he said that simply to vent. While grumbling, Yu Jin had already climbed a considerable height.

The mountain peak was indeed treacherous, but someone would eventually conquer it, not to mention that the person climbing was Yu Jin.

"Ha... Ha! I'm exhausted!" Just like when he climbed Dragonspine, Yu Jin lay flat as soon as he reached the summit.

After resting on the summit for a while, Yu Jin had seen enough of the scenery, so he stood up and walked towards his destination.

It was a house nestled on a side peak of Mt. Tianheng. When Yu Jin arrived, he saw a stout man standing in the courtyard.

"Hello, the medicine has arrived!" Yu Jin waved the large stack of medicine packets in his hand and said to the man before him.

"Okay, thank you, Big Brother." Xiao Jiang had clearly seen this scene more than once; he skillfully took the medicine packets and placed them on the table.

Big Brother? Yu Jin looked up at the adult-sized Xiao Jiang, then at the commission slip, and asked, "Xiao Jiang, why are you alone here? Where are your parents?"

"Mom and Dad went out for business and won't be back for a while." Xiao Jiang shook his head. Mom and Dad had been gone for a long time, and he didn't know where they were.

"Is that so?" Yu Jin walked to the table, opened a packet of medicine, and smelled it. It was a very peculiar medicine, directly affecting the soul. This was the first time Yu Jin had encountered such a medicine.

So, he re-wrapped the medicine and looked at the scattered papers on the table:

"Regarding Jiang'er's mental issues, I have already sought medicine from Bubu Pharmacy, and I expect results in the next few days..."

"After I stand my last shift, I will resign. I've given most of my life to the Millelith, and I must spend time with you all. You and Jiang'er just need to wait a little longer."

...Looking at the two distant stone tablets, Yu Jin understood in his heart. This was a person with a hard life, orphaned, and with an intellectual disability.

But Yu Jin then looked at the medicines neatly placed on the table and the food in the house, and a smile involuntarily appeared on his face. The situation wasn't so bad.

At least, after taking the medicine from Bubu Pharmacy, Xiao Jiang should have no major problems returning to normal.

"Bubu Pharmacy, Qiqi? Baizhu, a capable and ambitious person." Yu Jin gazed into the distance at Bubu Pharmacy, becoming curious about whether Baizhu could find immortality for himself.

Wandering leisurely, Yu Jin arrived beside the stone tablets, which were densely inscribed with small characters.

One was the Tomb of Shaoyuan, with wine stains still on it, suggesting he was a lover of wine in life; the other was the Tomb of Duanya, with scattered petals beside it, presumably a lover of beauty.

"Hmph! I just don't know how long it's been since you died. If it's recent, I might be able to pull you out," Yu Jin muttered to himself, addressing the gravestones.

Though he said this, Yu Jin did not move, because he feared a repeat of what happened with Joseph in Dragonspine.

Such things are best kept to a minimum.

Returning to Xiao Jiang's side, Yu Jin sat on the bench. He tapped the table, looked at an open space in the distance, and spoke to the Fatui who had been following him for a long time:

"Gentlemen, you can come out now. You haven't gotten tired following me for so long, but I'm tired of pretending to be tired."

"Big Brother is playing hide-and-seek with others?" Xiao Jiang's eyes lit up when he heard Yu Jin's words. Hide-and-seek was his favorite game.

"Something like that," Yu Jin said with a smile. Then he snapped his fingers, causing Xiao Jiang to fall asleep.

"When did you find out?" A muffled male voice came. A Debt Collector, masked and entirely hidden beneath a cloak and coat, emerged.

"Those in this line of work need to be clear about their abilities. Bringing people to track me? That's a huge flaw, you know," Yu Jin said, looking at the empty space beside the Debt Collector.

"I underestimated you." Another almost identical voice came, but this time, in addition to another Debt Collector, a standard squad also appeared.

Yu Jin looked at these Fatui soldiers and nodded in satisfaction, "Just in case, I'll ask, if I die, how will you deal with Xiao Jiang?"

"A fool, it's not hard to silence him forever."

"Good." Yu Jin nodded again.

It's normal for people to eat when hungry and to add fuel when the fire is low.
