Chapter 4 - Average day of Hares.

Ah, it's been 4 days after the event which had happened, we had focused so much on many events at once, but lets not forget about those two beings.

A roaster crowed as the sun rose. Birds were chirping, a morning wake up call for many in the old times.

"Did I heard a sound of a potential chicken meat!?"

Lucas woke up from his so called bed which was just bunch of Hays.

"No big brother, you can't eat that chicken, it's used to wake up out street."

Hares was sitting on another stack of Hays which was near Lucas's bed (A seperate stack of Hays.)

"Aw, it's that chimckwen agai-."

Lucas yawned and went back to sleep again. Well Lucas sleeps alot in the morning because he is a little different (just like you), he usually stays up during night and wakes up in the morning.

Hares didn't cared because it was just a average day for him. A little later Harse decided to go and take a look outside.

Hares walked towards a poorly made door like structure, or we could say a piece of wood which was kept in the doorway.

Harse took the piece of wood and went outside while holding it, then he placed the wood back into its place.

After that Harse took a look outside, the sky was beautiful as ever, the sun was just rising.

"Its rare to see the sun rise with big brother, but I remember when he saw the sunrise with me, but it was a little different, we both woke up full day staring at the sky until sun rose, it was an wonderful star gazing.."

Hares thought to himself, as he was watching the sun rise with a little nostaligia.

Hares then walked a little until he arrived near a garden.

"Food is good."

Hares then stole some of the fruits and hid it in his clothes and went back to his home or rather a hut, but for him it was a home, he would prefer that place over a castle, because a home is not a grand place.

A average person would act freely only if he was in his home, but he can't act the same way in a huge grand place with several people, or a place where he wasn't used to.

That's Harse's and Lucas's mindset. Infact Hares was thinking about it while he arrived back to his home.

Hares didn't went in, but rather stayed out, and then took a small cart which looked pretty old, but somehow looked very good.

Hares placed the fruits in his cart.

Hares then walked a little again until he arrived in another garden and repeated the process again until his cart was full.

"Finally I can rest a little."

Hares then removed the piece of wood called door and moved the cart inside his home(Hut).

"Good thing we had some inheritance or else we won't even have a place to stay and would have been living in the streets, and would have gotten kidnapped or enslaved, I would be probably doing overtime work if it wasn't for the inheritance contract still it's a bit too much to give the inheritance to someone like us this young after that incident, am I right brother?"

Hares wiped a sweat from his forehead, and turned towards Lucas who was hugging the Hays while sleeping.

"Yeah..chimkwen.."

Lucas mumbled, perhaps it was his reply.

"Ofcourse. Anyways just make sure to wake up in time."

Harse turned towards the doorway and walked outside and closed the door again (placed the piece of wood in its original place).

Hares looked at the farmland which didn't looked like a land which could be used to farm, and it was handed over to two kids who won't even know basic events, it was a brutal reality, somehow these kids are surviving with such insane conditions.

Hares didn't wanted to walk, but he had to go to the market to buy some scraps for his big brother to use.

Hares slowly walked to the market place, he didn't needed to rush like others, such as adventurers, traders, or common people who want to buy food.

Hares went to buy some waste items which no one would buy.

As Hares arrived in the market district he saw many selling several items, but he also saw many people weren't having a good time.

There were several people arguing about the increase in the price of grains.

"I wish I could solve this."

While he was mumbling Hares showed a sad expression, but he didn't did anything other than feeling sad, because he can't do anything.

"Hey little fella how about you come and buy something instead of mumbling?"

A man with a black and white hair with a hood called Harse from behind, his figure can't be seen clearly but he was pretty tall, around 6'1, he had pale skin just like Lucas, he had a messy hair too, and his eye colour was unique, one eye was silver in colour while the other one was black.

"Ah!"

Hares screamed, because it was a sudden mention of his name and he was not used to be called by others, and also there were rumours about few mysterious people, it was some sort of cult, or a group of people who find slaves to sell them.

Hares quickly repositioned himself and replied.

"Oh, you scared me!"

Hares looked at the man, and he was just sitting there with bunch of items with him, it was an decent place to buy some scraps.

The man was still sitting there, quietly as Hares observed the items the man had, one caught his eye, it was a golden crystal ball like item.

Hares had a weird feeling, and felt something, it almost felt like it belongs to him, he knew it would be costly but he asked for its price because he really wanted to have it, because of his weird feeling, a feeling which even Hares didn't understood why.
