To clear up any confusion I've made a list for the German officer names.
Second Lieutenant - Leutnant
Lieutenant - Oberleutnant
Captain - Hauptmann
Major - Major
Lieutenant Colonel - Oberstleutnant (not to be confused with the normal Lieutenant)
Colonel - Oberst
Major General - Generalmajor
Lieutenant General - Generalleutnant
General - General of the Infantry/ of the Panzer troop....
Field Marshall - Generalfeldmarschall
