Anna's Apartment
The soft glow of her tablet screen lit up Anna's face as she stared blankly at the half-drawn figure on it. A sigh escaped her lips as she dropped the stylus, rubbing her eyes in frustration. Nothing felt right. The hair looked stiff, the eyes were dead, and don't even get her started on the proportions.
"I swear I used to know how to draw," she muttered.
Life hadn't been the same these days. Work wasn't going well, snd Joseph? her soulmate? She doesn't understand him lately. He seemed to be distancing himself from her somehow, or maybe that was just her thought. Either way, he wasn't important right now.
Because after that day, she hadn't seen or heard from Raya. She didn't even know how her best friend was faring, or if something had happened to her. Nor did she know her way back to Adrian's house. Her eyes had been covered when she went in, and when she got out of Adrian's place, she had no idea where it was, even if she decided to go back.
