A huge blue beam of light rose into the sky, tearing open a black hole in the sky. And from the darkness, a dense swarm of flying objects poured out, a terrifying, silent horror that descended upon the unsuspecting city.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sound of explosions thundered through the streets. Dozens of the mysterious black spots were rapidly approaching Times Square, and one of them was heading straight for the shopping mall.
Leo's eyes widened in surprise as the black spot grew larger and larger. It was a flying vehicle that resembled a sea motorcycle, and the tall figure driving it was definitely not human. Its body reflected the cold, metallic luster of the sun.
Before the vehicle had even reached the street, a dazzling red flame shot from its front, a terrifying tail of fire that rushed toward the building.
"Look out!"
Leo reacted quickly, grabbing Nami and pulling her to the ground.
At the same time, a powerful explosion erupted on the outer wall between the third and fourth floors. The windows shattered, and the reinforced concrete wall and the floor on the edge of the fourth floor collapsed with a thunderous roar.
The shockwave carried broken building fragments into the mall, and flames began to burn in the gaping hole in the front of the building, thick black smoke quickly filling the interior space.
"Ahem… Nami, are you okay?"
His ears were ringing. He coughed a few times and looked around. The floor near him had collapsed, leaving him on the edge of a cliff. But he couldn't worry about that now. When he had thrown Nami to the ground, she had suddenly twisted her body, using her own soft body as a shield to protect his back. So, he himself was not injured.
He got up anxiously and looked around, but the heavy gunpowder smoke made it impossible to see more than two meters in front of him. He couldn't see Nami anywhere.
No way.
His heart twitched fiercely.
Step!
At that moment, a tall figure jumped in from the outside, landing on the fourth floor not far from him with a heavy metal sound. In the smoke, two emotionless red pupils appeared, and then a nearly two-meter-high, metallic robot walked out, holding an energy gun of a design that was definitely not from this world. Its eyes kept turning and scanning, as if it were a killing machine locking onto the humans in the mall.
"You bastard!" Leo's eyes were reddish. He immediately rushed toward the alien robot, his left hand clenched into a fist. The silver bracelet, the divine artifact hidden under his sleeve, grew hot, as if responding to his anger.
But another figure was faster.
Just as the alien robot and Leo were about to meet, the girl with the short blonde hair and uniform skirt forcibly inserted herself between them and reached out to grab the robot's metal arm.
BANG!
She threw her opponent to the ground with a single over-the-shoulder throw, the force of the impact causing cracks to bloom on the floor. She leaped up two meters, and as her body fell, her pale, tender fists violently hit the alien robot's face.
CRACK!
The mechanical head, with its circuits, parts, and chips, burst open with a chaotic electric current and sparkling sparks.
"Nami?!" Leo stared at her in a daze. The force of that punch… it had to be in the upper ton level. Was this the same Nami who sometimes had to ask him to open her drink bottle?
It was a lie!
He was still in a daze, and Nami, having dispatched the alien robot, took his hand and pulled him into the smoke-filled mall.
Nami pulled him into an unmanned clothes shop, quickly found a dressing room, and took him inside the narrow, isolated space. She opened her backpack, and from a hidden compartment, she took out a familiar black and white, tight-fitting spider uniform.
So, the Spider-woman that night was…
He understood everything. But before he could speak, she suddenly grabbed the hem of her uniform with both hands and pulled it up and off.
Her upper body was uneven, with graceful and strong muscle lines running from her soft white neck down to her stomach. And the most important thing… she wasn't wearing anything else underneath.
Wrong. He saw two ordinary band-aids, but they didn't cover anything. On the contrary, they only served to accentuate her already well-developed figure.
What a brother.
"Don't you know to turn around?" she said, just about to take off the rest of her skirt. She glared at him, blushing, and bit her lip.
Well, this is even more impressive.
He turned around without hesitation. The current situation was indeed not the time for appreciation.
There was a rustling sound behind him, and soon, she said he could turn back.
It was the female Spider-man from the rooftop.
"I'll explain everything to you later," she said, her voice a little different now that she was in her suit, more capable and direct. "For now, I'm going to get you and the others out of here."
"Okay," he said.
In a corner of the mall, Instructor Harrington and his assistant, Mysterio, though they were equally frightened, had managed to protect most of the students.
An alien robot scanned them through the smoke and sprinted toward them, firing its laser gun. The students screamed and backed away, their backs against a wall. Mysterio gritted his teeth, and together with the instructor, he stood in front of them.
At that moment, two white webs shot out from behind the alien robot, sticking to its metal arms. Pulled by a powerful force, the robot was thrown out of the building.
The female Spider-man jumped down in front of them. "Everyone, follow me!" she shouted.
Leo picked up the energy gun that the alien robot had dropped and joined the group of students.
"Go, let's get out of here quickly!" Instructor Harrington said, his voice filled with joy and relief.
