Chapter 36 - Chapter C-XII : The New Century Legion.

14th January, Space Era Years 102.

Only days after the triumph over the Kepler Union, Lord Aelyzabeth Thors, Supreme Leader of the Centory Kingdom Reich, did not indulge in grand celebrations as other conquerors would.Instead, she remained within the command chamber of the fortress Sysinorax, reviewing the true cost of victory — the losses, the flaws, and the hidden fractures that war had exposed.

Though the war had ended in glorious triumph, Aelyzabeth saw only the scars beneath the victory — delays in supply routes, redundancy in command, disjointed manpower distribution, and the weary morale of soldiers who still needed a reason to stand proud.

"A victory not founded upon order and stabilityis but tomorrow's defeat."— Lord Aelyzabeth Thors, addressing the Supreme General Council.

Determined to forge a new era of military power, she unveiled the "New Century Military Reformation Program," structured under nine grand directives:

1. Abolition of Conscription — Establishment of a Fully Volunteer Force.

From this day forth, the Centory military shall consist solely of those who choose to serve, not those compelled by law. Each soldier must bear genuine devotion to the Empire and its ideals, not mere obedience to duty.

2. Enhancement of Welfare and Compensation.

All service members shall receive a 30% increase in pay, together with family, housing, and educational privileges — restoring the dignity of the soldier as "the Honor of Centory's Warriors."

3. The Dual Command Structure.

Each battlegroup shall now consist of two primary commanders: a Krieg Commander (Ground Operations) and a Marine Commander (Space Operations).

A new system of Deputy Commanders and Fleet Chiefs of Staff will ensure unity between planetary and orbital forces, allowing swift tactical response across all theaters of war.

4. Total Reorganization of the Armed Forces.

The structure was rebuilt from the smallest unit upward:

10 soldiers form a Unit, led by a Sergeant Major.

10 Units form a Division, led by a Lieutenant.

4 Divisions form a Company, led by a First Lieutenant.

4 Companies form a Battleship, led by a Captain.

8 Battleships form a Battle Squadron, led by a Major.

10 Battle Squadron form a Sub-fleet, led by a lieutenant colonel.

10 Sub-fleets form a Main fleet, led by a colonel.

10 Main fleets form a S-Marine, led by Major General.

10 S-Marine form a X-Marine, led by Lieutenant General .

10 X-Marines together form a Space Legion led by 1 Kreig Marine, led by two generals: 1 Kreig Commander and 2 Marine Commanders.

And the largest position in the fleet is the Field Marshal.

Marshal Vito Vilozyver, Commander of VSM (Vorwärtskommando).

Marshal Yamada Yohishiro, Commander of HSDK (Hauptquartier der Selbstverteidigungskräfte).

Thus the Empire's two great military branches shall advance in perfect unison — steel and discipline as one.

5. Establishment of the Centory Military Bank.

To secure independence from the civilian treasury, a new Military Bank of Centory was founded to manage defense budgets, research, and technological development — enabling direct funding for soldiers and innovation alike.

6. Reward for Valor.

The top 100 decorated warriors of the Kepler Campaign shall receive lands on conquered worlds for a reward for the soldiers and a way to develop the land. The top three may choose any planet within imperial domain as their own fiefdom, alongside medals of valor and a grand bonus for all who served.

7. Founding of the Thors Youth Corps.

An imperial youth organization under the direct patronage of Lord Aelyzabeth Thors — to instill discipline, loyalty, and the warrior's spirit in the next generation, ensuring the continuity of Centory's martial heritage.

8. Reform of Supply and Production Systems.

The old Central Supply Bureau was abolished. Each fleet will now contain self-sustaining units capable of producing food, fuel, and energy aboard their vessels. Supplementary supply convoys, heavily guarded, shall guarantee logistical invulnerability even when isolated in deep space.

9. Creation of National Identity and the Honor of the Warrior.

Two national banners were commissioned to embody the spirit of Centory:

Kreig Flag — A golden-framed banner crowned with the Imperial Eagle of Centory.

Reich Banner — Likewise gilded, but adorned with the Eagle grasping the Iron Cross, forged from gemstones taken in conquest.

A sacred decree accompanies these flags:

"Defeat may be endured —but the banners of Centory must never fall into enemy hands."

Each fleet receives eight banners for service, while six remain enshrined within the Supreme Leader's Palace, the War Ministry, and the High Command, as eternal emblems of the Empire's dignity.

The reformation took months to complete. But when formally enacted, the Centory military entered history under a new title —"The Iron Legion of the 102nd Space Era."

As the decree was proclaimed across the galaxy, the people's voices thundered through every broadcast channel:

"May the Golden Banner of Centorywave for eternity!"

And in that moment, Lord Aelyzabeth Thors, the architect of both victory and rebirth, stood before the stars once more — not as a conqueror, but as the mother of a new age of iron and order.

Thus ends Chapter C-XII.
