"Oh, by the way, Yushu-senpai, sensei is still fighting an Iwagakure Jonin. He seems to be Iwagakure's front-line commander." Neji only just remembered that Shinji was still entangled in a fight and quickly said.
"What? No wonder I haven't seen Shinji-sama." Upon hearing this, Yushu quickly stood up, wanting to go.
She said, pointing a direction for Neji, "Neji, you retreat to the rear, that's our territory. Iwagakure's forces in this area have all retreated."
Neji shook his head and said, "No, I have to go too."
Yushu said with a frown, "Now is not the time for emotions, the battlefield is not a game."
Neji, however, had a solemn expression and said, "I am also a ninja. Sensei is just worried about my safety. But I can't just run away like this."
This was what Neji had been thinking about all the way. Although the enemy was strong, he had to be able to help somehow.
"Alright, you come with me." Yushu was silent for a moment before speaking.
Neji nodded at this, and the two headed in the direction of Shinji and Kitsuchi's fight.
—
Just as Shinji was about to look for Neji's whereabouts, an incredibly huge explosion rang out.
The entire battlefield was instantly swept by this massive explosion and heat.
Shinji turned his head to look. "A Tailed Beast Ball?"
That amount of Chakra could only be caused by a Tailed Beast Ball. Shinji hesitated for a moment, then raised his hand to create a Shadow Clone.
"You go find Neji and take him off the battlefield."
After speaking, Shinji ran towards the location of the explosion without looking back.
On the way, he also saw the retreat signal issued by Iwagakure. He guessed that Kitsuchi had already been discovered.
So, at that location, at most, only the Five-Tails Jinchuriki and Ōnoki remained.
This was good, at least he didn't have to worry about Konoha ninjas being affected later.
When Shinji arrived at the battlefield, he saw a giant toad in the center of the battlefield, wielding a katana. It was Gamabunta.
On the other side, a snow-white beast was roaring towards Gamabunta. The Chakra erupting from it was almost tangible, spreading in all directions.
"Hey! Jiraiya! Can you do it?! If another one comes, I can't block it!" Gamabunta shouted at Jiraiya above him with his mouth wide open.
"Even if you can't, you have to! If we can't block it, our comrades behind us will be in trouble!"
Jiraiya, with his disheveled hair, panted heavily. He and Gamabunta had done their best to block the Five-Tails's Tailed Beast Ball.
"Tch, don't die!"
Gamabunta unhappily tucked his pipe behind him and looked at the Five-Tails in the distance.
On the other side, Ōnoki floated in the sky, looking at the Five-Tails roaring like a beast below him, then shouted at Jiraiya, "Jiraiya! Return Roshi! Otherwise, I will raze all the Konoha ninjas on your battlefield!"
"Hahaha! If you're capable, come to Konoha yourself to get him!" Jiraiya laughed heartily and unrestrainedly.
He was the disciple of the Hokage, known as the Toad Sage. How could he be threatened?
"What arrogant words! Then let Konoha bleed first and see!"
Ōnoki said no more and immediately ordered Han below him to act.
Han's control over the Tailed Beast was even worse than Roshi's, so Jiraiya had to be dealt with quickly. That way, Konoha, without its commander, would be nothing but a disorganized mess.
"Hey, Jiraiya, it looks like this wave is serious." Gamabunta had a serious expression.
The Five-Tails in the distance was already gathering Chakra.
"Yes." Jiraiya responded with a serious expression.
"Yo, it looks like you're having a tough fight?" A voice suddenly appeared beside Jiraiya.
Jiraiya was startled at first, then looked over with an expression full of disbelief.
"Shinji! You dealt with Kitsuchi?" Jiraiya's voice was full of disbelief.
Ōnoki had made it clear from the beginning. Shinji had been stopped by Kitsuchi and couldn't come to help them.
"Well, it was a bit troublesome, but yes, I dealt with him." Shinji waved his hand indifferently.
Then, he looked at Ōnoki floating in the air, stretched out his hand, and waved, signaling.
"Yo, you're so old, don't fly so high. What if you fall later?"
Even if he didn't believe it in his heart, Ōnoki couldn't help but ask, "Konoha brat, what happened to Kitsuchi?!"
How long had it been? He knew his son's strength well. Yet, this brat in front of him arrived so quickly.
Shinji said indifferently, "Oh, you mean him? He's fine. I left him a complete corpse."
Didn't Ōnoki want to kill him?
Then come on!
Indeed, upon hearing this, Ōnoki became enraged and roared, "Konoha brat! I'll have your life!"
"Shinji, be careful!" Jiraiya only had time to give a warning.
The next instant, a pillar of light emitting a white glow descended as if from the sky, heading towards Gamabunta's head.
Boom—
The light pillar went straight for Shinji, vowing to reduce him to ashes.
Yang Release Chakra Armor!
Shinji covered his hands with a massive amount of Yang Chakra, holding the light pillar coming towards him in front of his body.
"What?!" Ōnoki was full of disbelief.
Someone actually caught his Dust Release with bare hands?
"Jiraiya-senpai! I'll leave the Five-Tails to you for now!" Shinji shouted.
A huge burst of Chakra erupted from his feet. Then, he leaped from Gamabunta's head.
"Hey! What are you doing?!"
Gamabunta, already startled by Ōnoki's Dust Release, felt his head was about to explode. The next instant, his entire massive body fell to the ground.
A huge cloud of smoke rose.
"Ptooey!"
"Jiraiya! Who is that brat?!" Gamabunta struggled to his feet and asked in a very displeased tone.
"Ah, he's my fellow disciple."
Jiraiya looked at the figure in the sky, constantly pressing down on Ōnoki, and said, "Gamabunta, we have to help too."
"Alright. But, later, I'm going to settle scores with that brat."
After Gamabunta finished speaking, he leaped up and headed towards the Five-Tails on the ground.
"You hateful brat! I am the Third Tsuchikage!"
Ōnoki saw Shinji constantly blocking his Dust Release light pillar, and his figure getting closer and closer. Helpless, he could only disperse the Chakra in his hand, and his body once again soared into the sky. He was naturally not a fool and wouldn't discard the advantage of being able to fly.
"Old man! Don't think you're the only one who can fly!"
Shinji looked at Ōnoki, who wanted to fight him from a high altitude, and without hesitation, used Oborozuki Sage Mode.
The next instant, a cloud appeared under his feet, and he chased after Ōnoki.
The rapidly flying Ōnoki glanced at Shinji, who was constantly approaching behind him, and an enraged expression appeared on his face.
